Three ways to the Q♦6♣5♦ flop, Nick Pupillo bet 3,000 on the button and Daniel Iachan was the only caller in late position. They checked the 10♦ on the turn and Iachan also checked the 4♦ on the river.
Pupillo checked his cards once more and then bet 3,600.
Iachan only tanked for around fifteen seconds before he apologised to his table mates and folded soon after.
Ricardo Eyzaguirre from the small blind and Lawrence Abrams from the button were tangled in a pot with the board reading K♦7♣4♥A♣ on the turn with a little over 30,000 in the middle already.
Eyzaguirre led for 12,000 before Ambrams jammed for 27,600, and Eyzaguirre snapped it off as the slightly covering stack.

It was a brutal cooler with Eyzaguirre flopping a set of sevens against the turned set of aces for Abrams. Eyzaguirre could not find the one-outer on the 6♣ river, and he was left on fumes while Abrams collected a massive pot.
A player opened to 800 in early position and was called by Daniel Iachan in the cutoff. The button then squeezed to 3,500. In the big blind, Nick Pupillo cold-called, the original opener folded, and Iachan called.
On the 7♣3♦2♣ flop, it checked to the button who bet 1,600. Pupillo called before Iachan check-raised to 5,500, and only the button called.
The turn brought the K♣ as Iachan fired for 8,000, getting a quick fold from his opponent as the 2025 Main Event 17th place finisher dragged an early pot shortly after taking his seat
Over on table one, Anthony Basile and his opponent checked down the river of a K♠8♥6♠J♥3♦ board with more than 22,000 in the middle. Basile tabled the A♣K♣ and it was good enough to win the pot.

Action picked up three-ways to the turn in a single-raised pot after the flop checked through.
With the board reading 9♠7♦6♠A♦, it checked to an early position player who bet 700, getting calls from both Nick Pupillo in the small blind and Bijay Lama in the big blind.
On the J♥ river, Lama led for 2,000, the early position player called, and Pupillo quickly folded. Lama tabled A♠J♣ for a rivered top two pair, and his opponent mucked.
With some 2,000 in the middle to the 10♦5♥3♣ flop, Maxwell Young and Remo Lupo checked to the A♣ on the turn. Young checked and Lupo declared "thirteen hundred bananas" when he bet 1,300. Young called before they checked the Q♣ on the river.
Lupo showed his A♥9♥ and it was good enough to win the pot. He also has a plush banana as lucky charm on the rail.
On the river of a 5♠4♣2♦K♦4♥ board, Omar Taveras bet 3,900 and was called to reveal the K♣Q♦ for queens and fours to win the pot.
After the hand was over, John Scrimenti sat down right next to him as one of the latest entries. Carlos Chadha Villamarin can now also be found in the field as well.
Bin Weng has just taken his seat and on one of his first hands he was facing an early position open and a three-bet from Aaron Mermelstein in the hijack. In the small blind, Weng put out a cold four-bet to 4,200, getting quick folds from both opponents.
The next hand James Postiglione opened to 800 and was called by Mermelstein in middle position, Weng on the button, and Anthony Russo in the big blind.
Action resumed on the turn with Postiglione and Weng heads-up with around 8,000 in the middle and the board reading Q♥9♦8♣6♣. Postiglione checked to Weng who put out an overbet of 12,200, and Postiglione folded after some deliberation.
