Verderamo had Molitor crushed with his aces, while Molitor picked up some outs on the 6J10 flop with a straight draw. The 2 turn was no help, while the river came the 9 to send Molitor to the rail.

At another table, Mike Dentale raised to 75,000 in the cutoff, Tanupat Punjarojanakul moved all in for 350,000 from the big blind, and Dentale called.

Nicholas Verderamo chopped a battle of the blinds with Ricky Landais and then raised it up to 55,000. Adam Kim three-bet to 140,000 one seat over and Changfeng Fan then moved all-in thereafter.

Verderamo folded and Kim sigh-called with a near identical shorter stack.

Dentale in Awe of Weng; Porter Gets Paid by McDonald

Mike Dentale raised to 55,000 in middle position and Bin Weng called in the big blind.

Both players checked the 77K flop. Weng then bet 70,000 on the 3 turn, and Dentale called.

The 5 river was checked down, and Weng showed 75 for a full house. "Nicely played. It takes a special talent to play seven-five off and make a full house," Dentale said as he mucked.

Andrew Porter then bet 25,000 from middle position on a flop of AQJ and John McDonald called in the big blind.

Porter bet another 35,000 on the K turn, and McDonald again called. The river was the 2 and Porter bet 155,000. McDonald called, and Porter showed Q10 for a straight to win the pot.

Carlos Chadha raised to 50,000 in middle position and Ricky Guan three-bet to 125,000 in the cutoff. Chadha then four-bet to 300,000, and Guan folded.

A few hands later at this table, Omar Taveras bet 50,000 from the big blind on a flop of AAJ before Austen Yueh moved all in for 260,000 under the gun. Taveras used up three time banks before tossing the A into the muck.

Renna Starts With a Four-Bet

Ricky Guan won the first hand of the day post flop against Concetta Rinaldi and joked he'd already won the tournament.

Austen Yueh then raised to 50,000 and Guan on the button three-bet to 125,000. Michael Renna in the big blind used one time bank and four-bet to 350,000. Yueh snap-folded and Guan called.

On the A65 flop, Renna bet 150,000 and Guan folded to smirk and say "he is not very friendly".

One table over, Ricky Landais raised to 60,000 and Adam Kim three-bet to 120,000 for Landais to call. Landais checked the K104 flop and folded when Kim continued for 65,000.

Punjarojanakul Starts Off With a Double

On the first hand of the day, action folded around to Andrew Porter who announced all in from the small blind. "Well, you're going to get action," Tanupat Punjarojanakul said as he used up a few time banks to look at what was happening on the other tables before calling for 180,000.
