Anthony Wong moved all in for 580,000 from middle position and Mark Donly called in the cutoff.

Action folded around to Michael Assante who moved all in for 1,200,000 in the small blind, and Paul Spitzberg snap-called in the big blind.

Assante was looking for an ace against Spitzberg's sixes, but no help arrived on the K♠8♦9♣7♣Q♦ board and he was sent to the rail.
Paul Avezzie was also recently eliminated.
Craig Robertson raised to 210,000 in middle position and Derek Childress called in the small blind.
Robertson continued for 210,000 on the 9♣7♠8♣ flop, and Childress called. Robertson then bet 425,000 on the 5♣ turn, and Childress again called.
The river was the 4♠ and Robertson bet 1,100,000. Childress tanked for a few minutes before folding, and Robertson flashed queen-ten for just queen-high as he took the pot.
"Had to show that one," he said.
Christopher Steinberg opened to 200,000 from under the gun and called when Coleem Chestnut made it 550,000 from the small blind.
Chestnut continued for 675,000 on the Q♣9♥2♣ flop, and Steinberg called.
Chestnut quickly moved all in as the big stack on the 10♦ turn. Steinberg had around 1,600,000 behind, and called after some time in the tank.

Steinberg made a great call with second pair, but it soon turned into a disaster as Chestnut began tapping the table with joy as the 5♦ river gave him an unlikely two pair to score the pot and elimination.
Dennis Melandro raised to 225,000 in the hijack and Paul Spitzberg three-bet to 800,000 on the button. Leo Saiag then put in his last 775,000 in the big blind, and Melandro called.
Melandro and Spitzberg checked down the 6♣7♦9♦J♠10♣ board, and Spitzberg showed A♣Q♦. Melandro had A♠K♣, but Saiag showed Q♠Q♣ to win the pot and triple up.
At another table, Brandon Mueller shoved for 710,000 from the small blind and Robert Hwang called in the cutoff.

Saiag led out for 400,000 on the 6♦3♠2♦ flop, and Lauer called. Williamson jammed for 2,410,000 and Saiag snap-reshoved. Lauer folded.

Saiag flopped two pair to have the best hand. The Q♣ turn changed nothing but the 2♥ river gave Williamson the checkmark with a better two pair.
Robert Hwang opened to 160,000 from under the gun and Jamie Carmen called from the big blind.
On the 10♥7♦7♠ flop, Carmen check-raised to 375,000 over a bet of 80,000. Hwang called.
Carmen continued for 500,000 on the 3♥ turn and Hwang called once more.
The 5♣ completed the board, and Hwang snap-called when Carmen jammed for around 1,800,000.
Carmen had a full house with 3♦3♦, but Hwang had a bigger boat, and turned over 10♣10♦ to take the pot.
Derek Childress raised to 200,000 on the button, Paul Marzarella reraised all in for 700,000 from the big blind, and Childress snap-called.

Childress had woken up with jacks and left Marzarella looking for a king to survive. The flop came 8♠4♥3♠, but the K♥ fell on the turn to give Marzarella the lead with top pair.
Someone pointed out that Childress had picked up a flush draw, and he didn't even need it as the J♦ fell on the river to give him a set and send Marzarella to the rail.
Richard Rossetti moved all in for 810,000 in the hijack ,Michael Assante reshoved in the cutoff, and the rest of the table got out of the way.
