Both players checked the A♣9♦8♥ flop. Chaoui then bet 205,000 on the K♠ turn, and Yokosawa called.
The 7♠ river was checked down, and Chaoui showed A♥J♣ for top pair. Yokosawa mucked K♦Q♥.
Ivan Luca raised to 120,000 in middle position with A♥Q♥ before Mehdi Chaoui three-bet to 260,000 in the hijack with A♠J♦. Luca then moved all in for 1,200,000, and Chaoui folded.
Luca raised to 120,000 from early position the next hand, and Hugo Machado called in the small blind.
The flop came K♦9♦6♥ and Luca bet 135,000. Machado then raised to 325,000, and Luca came back with another all-in shove for 1,500,000. Machado used up a few of his time banks and eventually called after more than a minute.

Both players were on a flush draw, and the 5♦ turn gave Luca the nut flush to leave Machado drawing dead. The river was the 4♣ and Luca doubled up.
Masato Yokosawa raised to 120,000 in middle position before Ivan Luca three-bet to 280,000 in the hijack. Yokosawa then moved all in for 910,000, and Luca folded A♥2♥.
Gabriel Tavares moved all in for 305,000 under the gun and Ivan Luca called on the button.

The largest poker series ever held in South America drew a talent-packed field of 56 to the WTC Sheraton in Sao Paulo, and one of them will emerge as champion of the Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) Super High Roller Series R$100,000 ($20,000 US) Super High Roller today.
Ruben Lopes (3,425,000) of Portugal leads the eight remaining players who return today at 2 p.m. local time to play down to a champion. Right behind him on the leaderboard is his countryman Hugo Machado (3,295,000), while Mehdi Chaoui, no stranger to high roller events with more than $3 million in live earnings, rounds out the podium with 2,010,000.

Ivan Luca already came close to a title this week, finishing second in the $10,000 Super High Roller Invitational a few days ago, and he’ll look to do one better today as he starts with 1,770,000. PokerStars Team Pro and local superstar Rafael Moraes is in fifth place with 1,405,000, while the rest of the final table lineup is rounded out by Zdenek Zizka (950,000), Japanese vlogging star Masato Yokosawa (850,000), and Gabriel Tavares (305,000).
The action on Day 3 picks up with 12 hands remaining in Level 21 with blinds of 30,000/60,000 and a 60,000 big blind ante. Each subsequent level will last 28 hands. The players have locked up R$210,000 ($42,000 US) for outlasting the lengthy bubble late last night, while the champion earns R$1,575,000 (US $315,000). All the action will be streamed on BSOP’s official YouTube channel on a 30-minute delay.
