Chang Gets Surprising Win Versus Kuney
Level 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 500 ante
With about 40,000 in the middle on a completed board of 7♠4♠3♥8♥3♣, Danny Chang bet 13,000 from under the gun against Michael Kuney in the cutoff.
Kuney cut out calling chips and thought about his decision for a bit before electing to call.
"Good call," complimented Chang who reluctantly showed the 8♠ for a pair of eights.
Kuney showed A♦7♦XxXx and told Chang that was it, just a pair of sevens.
Chang showed the rest of his hand, J♣9♠8♠6♥ and his lone pair of eights was good enough to take the pot as Kuney gathered his pair of sevens and sent them to the muck.
