Five players built a pot of about 12,000 before a flop of A♠7♥3♠ and the quintet all checked.
On the 8♣ turn, after a check from the small blind, Chip Ervin bet 7,500 from the big blind.
None of his four opponents had anything worth calling with and Ervin took down a healthy pot.

A pot escalated preflop that saw Kisha Slaughter raise to 9,600 in early position after limping and getting raised.
Ravee Sundar then moved all in for about 29,000 in middle position and Kris Burchfield moved in over top for about 80,000 from late position. Slaughter then called off her last 1,200 more, setting up the three-way all-in pot.
Kisha Slaughter: 9♣6♣6♥4♥
Ravee Sundara: A♣Q♣7♦2♦
Kris Burchfield: K♠K♦3♦2♠
The board came 10♣7♥2♣5♦6♠, giving Slaughter the main pot with a rivered set of sixes, while Sundara took down the side pot with sevens and deuces, leaving Burchfield's kings out in the cold.

The 70th entry of the day has just sat in the tournament, with Day 1b's total of 67 now passed for the largest opening flight field of the PLO Championship.
Registration is still open for just over another hour, closing at the start of Level 9.
About 8,000 was in the middle on a flop of A♥9♦4♥ with action checked to a short-stacked Lawrence Lazar on the button who committed his last 4,900 chips.
Ike Nlemchi called in early position while two other players folded to leave Lazar's fate to Nlemchi.
Lawrence Lazar: A♦J♣3♦2♠
Ike Nlemchi: 8♥8♦7♦6♥
The turn 4♣ gave Lazar two pair, but he still needed to fade a heart on the river to survive. unfortunately for him, the K♥ fell to give Nlemchi his flush to take the hand and send Lazar back to the registration cage for a re-entry.

With about 15,000 in the middle on a completed board of K♠Q♣J♠5♣K♥, bets and raises were exchanged between Matthew White in the big blind and Lawrence Wayne in the cutoff until the dealer announced "all-in and a call" with White's last 28,500 chips committed to the pot.
White showed down K♣Q♠9♠3♥ for kings full of queens, while Wayne could only show A♠J♣10♥7♣ for a flopped Broadway straight that got rivered by White to score the double-up.
