Dixon Holds To Bust Opponent

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Rich Dixon
Rich Dixon

Rich Dixon opened to 2,400 from the hijack and was three-bet to 6,800 by the big blind. He four-bet to 24,000 and his opponent went into the tank for close to two minutes before announcing he was all in for what was around 80,000. Dixon beat him into the pot, putting his stack of red T5,000 chips forward.

Rich Dixon: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Big Blind: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Dixon was in commanding shape to put himself among the top stacks in the room. The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, resulting in his ace-king high holding to bring him just short of 200,000 in chips.

"Again, Again!"

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Steve Wilkie raised to 5,000 from under the gun and Stephen Decker ripped in his last 22,000 or so from Wilkie's direct left. Action folded around to Wilkie, who had recently knocked out two players with pocket kings.

"Again, Again!" he said, turning over {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. By the time the cards were clearly visible, he calmly dropped a few chips from his hand into the pot.

Decker showed {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} to give Wilkie a small sweat. The turn {3-Hearts} and river {q-Diamonds} sealed the deal to give him his third elimination in short span, adding more chips to his stack along the way.

Nick Pupillo had 8,500 in front of him and was facing a reraise to 21,500 from David Levy in the small blind. Pupillo mulled over his decision for a while, counting out his stack to determine his decision. He ultimately decided to let his hand go and Levy took down the pot.

Steve Wilkie

A player shoved for his last 10,600 from the cutoff and Tim West came over the top for 20,300 from the button. The small blind folded, putting action on Steve Wilkie in the big blind.

"Sorry gentlemen, I call," he said with his British accent.

Steve Wilkie: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Tim West: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Hijack: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Wilkie sent both players to the rail as the board ran out {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs} and finds himself as the second player of the day to boast a stack of 200,000.
