Jan-Mikael Kesanen Eliminated in 6th Place (€8,500)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Jan-Mikael Kesanen

Sebastian Wahl opened for 90,000 from under the gun with {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. The action folded to Jan-Mikael Kesanen in the big blind who jammed his short stack of 216,000 with {k-Spades}{j-Spades} and Wahl made the call.

Kesanen was in the lead but it evaporated on the {4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{a-Hearts} flop with Wahl flopping top pair.

A ten for the straight or a king for a better pair could still save Kesanen. However, he hit the rail in sixth place for €8,500 after the {4-Hearts} appeared on the turn and the {6-Spades} completed the board on the river.

All remaining players are now guaranteed at least a five-figure payout of €12,100.
