Espen Vaksdal Eliminated in Eighth Place (€4,900)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Espen Vaksdal
Espen Vaksdal

Espen Vaksdal raised to 60,000 from under the gun with {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Sander van Wesemael three-bet to 165,000 from one seat over with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The action folded back to Vaksdal who jammed for 523,000 and Van Wesemael snap-called.

Vaksdal's Main Event was over after the {10-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} board was unable to help him and he collected the eighth place prize of €4,900.

The remaining seven players are now each guaranteed a payout of at least €6,100.

Luhakooder Flushes a Double

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Jaagup Luhakooder
Jaagup Luhakooder

Kyosti Isberg raised to 50,000 from the small blind with {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Jaagup Luhakooder from the big blind with {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

Isberg check-called a bet of 56,000 after the flop came {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Isberg then check-called a bet of 240,000 after the {4-Diamonds} appeared on the turn.

Isberg then went all-in for 2,300,000 after the {7-Clubs} completed the board on the turn. Despite the river completing Luhakooder's flush and him only having 275,000 behind, he went into the tank.

Luhakooder eventually calls and now has 1,400,000 in chips.

Tons of Small Ball

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

There haven't been any big pots recently but the stream has been entertaining with the two commentators making prop bets on various things including whether the flop will be mostly red or black.

Kristoffer Skolem with {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} opened from the hijack to 55,000 before Espen Vaksdal with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} three-bet jammed to 298,000.

Vaksdal, who just lost a flop, was a huge underdog when the money got in. However, he doubled up after the {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts} board gave him a straight while Skolem took a small dent in his stack.

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Craig Timmis

Craig Timmis had a rough return from the dinner break. First, he was bluffed before soon later he was outmatched.

Jan-Mikael Kesanen opened to 60,000 from the hijack with {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Timmis three-bet shoved for 598,000 with {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} from the cut-off. Sebastian Wahl called from the button with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Kesanen folded.

The {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} board wasn't able to save Timmis' tournament and he was eliminated in ninth place for €4,200. The eight remaining players are each guaranteed a payout of €4,900.

Van Wesemael Bluffs Timmis First Hand of the Stream

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Sander van Wesemael
Sander van Wesemael

Craig Timmis raised from early position with {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} to 50,000 and got a call from Sander van Wesemael from the big blind with {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

Both players checked the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop before Van Wesemael led out for 80,000 after the {2-Clubs} paired on the turn.

Timmis called before he led out for 100,000 after the {a-Hearts} gave him two-pair. Van Wesemael jammed for 2,500,000 more than covering the 649,000 Timmis still had in his stack.

Timmis tanked before he folded the best hand and Van Wesermael hops into the chip lead.
