Kristoffer Skolem Eliminates Sergei Aleksejev

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Kristoffer Skolem
Kristoffer Skolem

Sergei Aleksejev and Kristoffer Skolem collided in a huge hand.

On a {9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop, Skolem bet 27,000. Roger Pedersen called before Aleksejev raised to 120,000. Skolem went all-in for a huge stack of 527,000. Pedersen folded and Aleksejev called for less.

Skolem was in a world of hurt with {J-}{J-} against the {9-}{9-} held by Aleksejev. However, the {J-Spades} came on the turn to turn the tide the other way giving Skolem a bigger set. The {2-Clubs} completed the board on the river and Aleksejev hit the rail in 25th place for €1,350.

Players are now on a break while the redraw is being made and just five second level on the clock in Level 20.

Evenson Eliminates Svensson

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Coolbet Open
Coolbet Open

Mikael Svensson opened the button before Even Evensen jammed for about 650,000 from the small blind. It folded back to Svensson who with a total stack of around 150,000 to start the hand, called.

Evenson: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Svennson: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Svensson was behind when all the money was in the middle and the {j-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts} board was unable to help him catch up to eliminate him from the tournament. He didn't walk away empty-handed as after the hand he headed to the cashier to collect his 26th place prize of €1,350.

A redraw will take place after one more elimination.

The Weasel Eliminates Sandhaugen

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Coolbet Open
Coolbet Open

Stian Sandhaugen three-bet jammed to 115,000 over Sander "The Weasel" van Wesemael's opening bet.

Sandhaugen: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Van Wesemael: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

Sandhaugen said, "This is likely it," before the flop came {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

The table gasped at the all diamond flop, however, it wasn't the flush that sent Sandhaugen to the showers. The {A-Diamonds} on the turn gave Van Wesemael the lead and the {A-Spades} on the river sealed the deal to eliminate Sandhaugen in 27th place for €1,350.

After two more players are eliminated, the action moves downstairs to the casino for the final three tables after a redraw takes place.

Kim Andre Espeset four-bet jammed from the button {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for about 180,000 and got a call from Thanh Doan from the small blind with {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}.

The {4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades} board ran all blanks for Espeset and he was eliminated in 29th place for €1,250.

At around the same time on another table, Mikael Andersson shoved for about 150,000 with pocket queens and couldn't improve against his opponent's pocket aces to bow out in 28th place for €1,350.

Tobias Revenäs Gets Short and Hits the Rail

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Tobias Revenäs got his chip stack down low and just jammed 30,000 with {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} from middle position. The player in the big blind snap called with {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

Revenäs was looking good to double up especially after an eight spiked the {2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop. However, the {j-Hearts} on the turn gave his opponent a higher pair and he was sent to the rail in 30th place for €1,250 after the {9-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Aces Cracked to Send Dorbek to the Rail

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Coolbet Open Main Event
Coolbet Open Main Event

Mauri Dorbek ran into a bit of unfortunately bad luck. He raised under the gun to 23,000 before Jargo Alaväli three-bet to 55,000 from the big blind.

Dorbek shoved for 130,000 and Alaväli called.

The cards were turned over and it looked good for Dorbek who held {A-}{A-}. Alaväli needed a bit of help exposing {10-}{10-}. However, a ten hit the {10-}{9-}{8-} flop and the turn and river ran blanks to send Dorbek to the rail in 32nd place for €1,250.

Around the same time, Tarmo Tammel was also eliminated in 31st place and banked the same amount as Dorbek.

Aleksejev Doubles Isberg

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Kyösti Isberg
Kyösti Isberg

Kyösti Isberg was near the top of the chip counts throughout most of Day 2 before bagging a stack slightly above average. He is now in good shape after he doubled up off of Sergei Aleksejev.

With the pot nearing 100,000, Isberg three-bet shoved to 480,000 on a {5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and got a call from Aleksejev.

Isberg: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Aleksejev: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Isberg was in decent shape with top pair but had to sweat flush draw and gutshot straight draw outs from his opponents. He was able to breath a sigh of relief and snag a massive seven-figure pot after the {q-Spades} came on the turn and the {9-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Sander "The Weasel" van Wesemael just eliminated two opponents in the same hand.

Jari Hurri, who was down to less than two big blinds shoved before Adam Andersson over shoved for 130,000.

Van Wesemael: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Andersson: {K-}{K-}
Hurri: {A-Diamonds}{7-}

Van Wesemael had a huge advantage over both of his opponents and his hand held as the board ran out {4-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades}. Hurri officially finished in 33rd place, while Andersson took 34th place.
