Mataix then raised to 110,000 from early position. Perez took off his glasses and buried his face in his hands as he tanked for several minutes.

He eventually folded and Mataix showed him Q♠Q♥ as he took in the pot.

The turn came the K♠ and Ostapenko fired out another 15,000. Rodriguez then came back with a raise to 30,000 and Ostapenko stuck around to see the 2♥ river.

He checked over to Rodriguez, who this time checked back and took the pot with A♥8♠.

Francesc Parramon couldn't recover from losing the big pot to Diogo Ferreira and was eliminated a few hands later, bringing the field three spots from the money.

Parramon was in the cutoff and tanked for several minutes before he slid in the chips to call. Ferreira then turned over A♠J♥ for the rivered straight and Parramon flashed K♠J♦ for trip kings as he handed over most of his chips.

Rodriguez tanked for nearly a minute before he called. Mataix then turned over K♦Q♥ and got up from his seat prepared to make his exit, but then found he was ahead as Rodriguez could only show K♠J♣ giving Mataix a double up.
