Butuc In the Tank for Four Minutes

On the last hand before the break, Sebastian Ionita and Gheorghe Butuc found themselves in a blind versus blind situation.

Ionita bet 100,000 from the small blind on the flop 8♣K♥9♦, and Butuc quickly called. The same actions occurred on the turn 5♥, but this time with a bet of 225,000.

However, on the river 3♠, after Ionita fired a third barrel of 650,000 with 9♠8♥ for two pair, it took more than four minutes for Butuc to finally make a decision.

Murguet Folds Trips

Players of the final table take their time and very few risks. As a result, only two flops were seen in the last fifteen hands, and the action didn't continue further both times.

At some point, three players eventually jumped in a pot with Cristian Rajala, who opened to 200,000 from early position, Cristian Puscas in the small blind and Vlad Murgulet in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 2♥K♦4♥, and Rajala continued with a bet of 275,000. Puscas folded 5♦5♣, but Murgulet check-called.

A second king came on the turn K♣, with Rajala firing a second barrel of 400,000 with Q♠Q♥.

Once again, it took more than two minutes for Murgulet to make a decision. But he eventually folded trips with K♥10♦.

Vlad Murgulet opened to 160,000 from the hijack, then saw Gheorghe Butuc three-bet to 680,000 in the big blind.

For more than two minutes, Murgulet struggled to make a decision, but he eventually called. He went into the tank again on the flop 4♣J♥3♣, after Butuc bet 350,000. But once again, Murgulet called.

Butuc slowed down on the turn 9♣ by checking. But it didn't make it easier for Murgulet, who still took a long time to check back.

Puscas Makes Mitracu Fold

Heads up on a board of 9♣9♥K♥, Alexandru Mitracu bet 85,000 from the cutoff after he raised to 125,000 preflop. Cristian Puscas called from the big blind, so both of them moved on to the turn K♣.

This time, both of them checked to find the 7♦ on the river, where Puscas lead out with a bet of 60,000 with 6♠6♥. Enough to make Mitracu with the best hand, Q♠J♠.

Puscas Raises on the Flop
