Francesco Cirianni Doubles Through

Ludovic Lacay
Ludovic Lacay
Alexander Andermatt raised to 15,000, Ludovic Lacay made it 50,000 and Francesco Cirianni, who had been casually chatting away to the rail all the while, rose from his seat, waved his hands in the air and announced, "All in".

Andermatt quickly passed, but Lacay was less hasty, perhaps enticed by the value being offered by the pot. Eventually, the additional 125,000 (or thereabouts) was too much for the Frenchman to resists as he made what was an expected call.

Lacay = {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Cirianni = {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Board = {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{K-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}

UnLocht; Roy Van Der Locht Eliminated in 30th (€11,000)

Roy Van Der Locht - 30th place
Roy Van Der Locht - 30th place
Disaster for Roy Van Der Locht as he loses two crucial hands and exits in a disappointing 30th place.

With the board reading {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}, Von Der Locht led for 20,000 and Andrew Alan Chen made the call. On the {7-Hearts} river, Von Der Locht made a curious bet of 18,000, leaving himself just 45,000 behind.

"I'm all in," announced Chen. "Can you beat two pair?" asked Von Der Locht. Chen remained silent, and Von Der Locht made the fold.

A hand or two later, and that was all she wrote for Von Der Locht, his remaining chips going in with {6-Spades}{4-Spades} against Jakob Edberg's {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}. Although he had a pair on the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{J-Clubs} flop, it wasn't enough as Edberg hit a {3-Clubs} on the river for the flush.

Biro Is On The Point

Daniel Biro has managed to double up through Manuel Bevand. Bevand held the better hand preflop, {A-Clubs} {9-Hearts} to {A-Hearts} {4-Clubs} but not after the {A-Spades} {6-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {K-Hearts} board was dealt out. He doubles up to about 72,000.
