Peter Roche Eliminates Hans Eskilsson

Peter Roche
Peter Roche
Hans Eskilsson moved all in pre-flop for 37,000 and Peter Roche who had a similar stack called in the seat next to him. All the others got out of the way and it was showdown:

Peter: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Hans: {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}

The flop was good for Peter, falling {6-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and giving him a set, but Hans picked up more outs for the gutshot straight. All hope for the Swede was gone when the {7-Diamonds} fell on the turn to give Peter a winning full house.

Rob Hollink and Raymond Rahme Tangle

Rob Hollink
Rob Hollink
It was a big pot in the making, with Raymond Rahme and Rob Hollink all in. One of them was looking to win a big pot, until of course they flipped up their cards. Both men held A-J and though Hollink's was suited in spades, neither made a flush and they chopped the pot.

Alessandro De Michele Doubles Through Giampiero Cocciò

Alessandro De Michele moved all in from early position for 38,900. Action folded around to Giampiero Cocciò in the big blind. Giampiero Cocciò peeked at his cards and then shook his head, clearly indicating a crucial decision was in the works. A tough decision it was as it took Giampiero Cocciò almost five minutes to make the call. The players showed:

Giampiero Cocciò: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
De Michele: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

De Michele pumped his fist as the flop came {A-Diamonds} high. Cocciò failed to hit his set or backdoor any kind of other hand and De Michele doubled through him.

Dario Minieri Eliminates A Player

The player in the cutoff raised to 11,500 and the small blind called. Dario Minieri was in the big blind, and after asking both players how many chips the had left, he moved all in. The initial raiser folded but the small blind called for nearly 100,000 with {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Dario was holding {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}.

The board was dealt {Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and another big cheer erupted around the room as the Italian with a big heart moved up to around 300,000, eliminating a player in the process.
