Young Guns Giving Some Back

Matt Woodward is by far and away the tournament chip leader, but not everything has been so easy. After opening with a raise preflop, Woodward was called by the player in the big blind. The player checked the flop of {J-Spades}

to Woodward. Woodward fired out 5,800, but the big blind wasn't about to make things so easy. He check-raised to 13,000 and prompted a fold from Woodward.

Over at an adjacent table, Nick "FU_15" Maimone bet 6,000 on a flop of {K-Hearts}

. His opponent on the button moved all in for 37,000 total. Maimone paused, but elected to get away from his hand.

Both young players gave a little back to the competition at their respective table, but are still well above where they began the day.
