Diamonds Are for Eldar
Eldar said to Florian Langmann, "That was probably a bad check-raise. He looked pretty strong. Still - I needed the chips!"
Tony G Makes Small Dent in Alaei's Towers
Giuetti Getting the Lot
Just now he won a sizeable pot off ElkY: He called his under the gun raise to 10k along with John Kabbaj in the big blind. Kabbaj and ElkY checked the flop and Giuetti bet 19k. ElkY made the call. They both checked the turn, but on the river ElkY check-called another bet (around 45k), but mucked when Giuetti tabled .
Take a Haik
With this recent background, and with the hands they were dealt next, it was no surprise that an all-in confrontation occurred between Haik's and Giuetti's . Giuetti hit the extra hard too, and a resigned Haik left the table with a sad smile.
