Sandra Naujoks took a raised flop three ways. It fell , and all three players checked. The turn brought the , and the first player to act checked again. Johnny Lodden raised to 750, another player called, and Michel Abecassis reraised to 2,250. Lodden made the call, and the middle player got out of the way. The flop fell , and Lodden quickly checked. Abecassis bet 3,300, sending Lodden deep into thought. Eventually he raised to around 9,000, but we couldn't even count the bet before Abecassis threw his cards into the muck. Lodden has built back up to starting stack while Abecassis is sitting on around 50,000.
Mikhail Tulchinskiy raised to 800 in early position and got two callers behind to see the flop. Tulchinskiy bet out 1,600 and the first caller folded. The second caller, however, raised to 3,700. Tulchinskiy called, and they saw the next card.
The turn was the and this time Tulchinskiy checked. His opponent bet 7,200, and after a moment Tulchinskiy called.
The river came down the and Tulchinskiy checked again. This time his opponent bet 10,800, leaving himself around 13,000 behind. Tulchinskiy gave it some serious thought and eventually called - but his opponent turned over for trips, and Tulchinskiy mucked his hand.
The two player's stacks had been just about even at the start of the hand. Tulchinskiy is now reduced to 13,000.
The bellowing across the tournament area can only mean one thing - Peter Hedlund is buying his table a round.
"Ok, so we have five beers and one girl-beer," he finished - Soraya Homam had ordered a shandy. He strode purposely off to the bar; he could still be heard ordering said beverages from the tournament area.
A player raised from middle position to 625 before the player on the button reraised to 2,025. Carter Phillips was in the small blind and four-bet to 4,600. The original raiser folded and then the button five-bet to 11,000. He only had a few thousand left after he put in the reraise. Phillips moved all in and his opponent called.

Like an angel from above, the hit the felt on the river, nailing Phillips with his two outer and giving him the pot. From worst to first went Phillips with an elimination of his opponent and a boost in his stack to 53,000 chips.
Phillips has been seen catching some short naps in between hands at the table due to feeling a bit under the weather. "THat gave me a nice boost and woke me up," said Phillips. "I feel energized now."
A moment later, Phillips looked up at one of the players across the table who was smiling and said, "That's how you win EPTs."
An under-the-gun player raised to 900 and Lex Veldhuis called from middle position. Action then folded around to the small blind and he called before the big blind tossed in the call as well.
The foursome saw the flop come down and the two blinds checked. The preflop raiser fired 1,200 and Veldhuis called. The small blind called as well, but the big blind folded.
The turn card brought the and the small blind checked. The preflop raiser shot out a bet of 3,000 before Veldhuis made the call again. The small blind then folded.
The river card produced the and the preflop raiser fired another bullet worth 11,000. After a moment of hesitation, Veldhuis moved all in. His opponent had roughly 25,500 behind and went into the tank. Eventually, he folded his hand and Veldhuis was awarded the pot. As the dealer pushed the pot his way, Veldhuis turned his head slight to his left and gave a nice little smirk before stacking up his new stack of 75,000 chips.
