Continued Aggression from Behling

The very next hand, Paul Thomas Otto raised to 100,000 from the button and Marcel Koller made it 310,000 from the small blind. Over to Nico Behling in the big blind, who asked how much Koller had back. Then he announced all in. Two swift folds later, and the pot was his.

Behling Gets Lucky

Nico Behling raised to 115,000 and Paul Thomas Otto in the big blind asked how much he had back (answer - around 1.3 million) but eventually thought better of it and folded.

So it was that Behling opened for 115,000 the next hand, and this time Evgeniy Zaytsev reraised to 260,000. Back to Behling, who shoved, and Zaytsev insta-called.

Behling: {A-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}
Zaytsev: extremely ahead with {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}

Board: {4-Clubs} {5-Clubs} bink! {A-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {6-Spades}

Behling doubled to around 2.8 million; the unfortunate Zaytsev meanwhile was reduced to just 900,000.

Things Settling Down

Coming back from the dinner break, it seems as though things are almost completely back to normal. Although the buzz of the robbery incident is still in the air, the players in the room are finally getting back to being fully focused on the task at hand. Whether it's a side event, the High Roller event or the Main Event, things have calmed down.

The security outside the ballroom has been beefed up quite a bit. There's a lot more hotel security guards checking IDs and player/staff passes before you enter the room and a few police officers are hanging around to keep things in check.

Some of the staff has been relieved from being too shaken up due to the incident, but for the most part, everyone is just happy that no one was hurt and all is now back to normal here at the EPT Berlin.

Stefan Huber - 15th Place
Stefan Huber - 15th Place
Stefan Huber was all in preflop and called by Kevin MacPhee. Huber held two queens and MacPhee the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. MacPhee spiked an ace on the flop of {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Huber couldn't find help on the turn ({10-Spades}) or river ({10-Diamonds}) and was eliminated just before the dinner break in 15th place.

MacPhee jumped to 7.2 million and everyone left is now earning €30,000. Huber took home €25,000.
