Biggest Heads-Up Pot Yet
The flop brought out , and two checks hinted that this might be yet another ho-hum-check-it-down pot.
Ah, but the turn would bring some action. The drew a bet of 400,000 from De Vivo. Wigg didn't waste an awfully long time calling, and the filled out the board. De Vivo led again with a bet of 600,000, and Wigg sat still and considered. After about 30 seconds, he announced a raise, and by the time he'd gathered about 1.6 million chips into his betting area, De Vivo's cards had hit the muck.
That pot pulls Wigg back into the chip lead with 6.6 million to De Vivo's 5.9 million.
