Ever since winning those big pots against Johnson and Holling, Martin Jacobson has become very active. Lucien Cohen opened to 106,000 which was called by Ruslan Prydryk but the Swede 3-bet to 375,000 out of the blinds, Cohen folded but Prydryk took a lot longer before releasing his hand after several minutes thought.
A few hands later saw Prydryk open to 90,000 UTG, Jacobson responded with a 3-bet on the button to 230,000, Prydryk moved all-in for just over 1.1 million and Jacobson folded instantly.
Franck Pepe made a raise to 95,000 and Anthony Hnatow called to his immediate left and the rest of the table folded. The two of them shared a flop of and both players checked. The turn was the and Pepe check-called a bet of 103,000 from Hnatow. The river was a and Pepe again checked. Hnatow counted out a bet in the region of 150,000 and Pepe already had the requisite number of chips in his hand ready to call. No sooner had Hnatow's chips hit the deck Pepe's did too.

Pepe now is one of the short stacks sat on 560,000.
Kaspars Renga is one of our short stacks here on the remaining two tables and it was only a matter of time before he had to try and dodge some bullets.
When he did make his 411,000 move he was holding and he found a caller in the shape of Martin Jacobson who was holding . Jacobson was looking for an eight or a split pot but neither came and Renga doubled up.
Philip Jacobsen raised to 92,000 on the button and Franck Pepe three bet from the small blind making it 182,000. The big blind moved out of the way and Jacobsen moved all of his chips into the middle.
