From under the gun, a player limped in before Team PokerStars Pro Lex Veldhuis raised to 650. Guillaume Darcourt made the call from the hijack seat and the limper also called.
The flop came down and action checked to Veldhuis. He bet 1,400 and Darcourt made the call. The first player check-raised to 2,800 and Veldhius called. Darcourt also called.
The paired the board on the turn and the first player fired 3,750. Veldhius and Darcourt both gave it up and let the preflop limper take the pot.

The tournament staff has just announced that eight levels will be played without a dinner break on both Day 1s. That should keep things nice and early today and tomorrow, allowing the players an evening to eat, relax and enjoy with friends and family.
Action folded to the player in the hijack seat and he raised to an unknown amount. In the cutoff seat sat defending champion David Vamplew. He reraised to 1,700 and the original raiser called to see the flop. The hijack checked and Vamplew bet 2,150. His opponent called.

Ana Marquez and Bryn Kenney are known for being the new successful poker couple on the scene, mostly due to Marquez's deep run in the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure that led to her signing as a Team PokerStars Pro. What's interesting today is that the two of them are seated right next to each other at the same table. Randy Dorfman is one of the late arrivals here on Day 1a of the 2011 PokerStars.com EPT London. He opened this pot from under the gun with a raise to 400. Bracelet winner from the 2011 World Championship of Online Poker Jonathan Karamalikis called from the button and Xuan Liu called from the big blind.
The flop was and Liu checked. Dorfman fired 1,025 and Karamalikis folded. Liu also gave it up and Dorfman scooped in this one.
After an opponent checked the final board of , Nick Binger fired 1,525. His opponent made the call and watched as Binger simply tossed his hand into the muck. His opponent tabled the for a pair of sevens to go along with the deuces on board and won the pot.
