Two Hands from Table 36

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Justin Bonomo and Ami Barer are sat next to each other and both lost two small pots after Bonomo opened twice on the bounce.

In the first hand Bonomo opened to 600 and was only called by Goran Mandic in the big blind. Bonomo saw his 1,000 c-bet called before both players checked down the {4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} turn and river. Bonomo opened {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} but lost out to Mandic's {j-Spades}{8-Spades}.

The next hand Bonomo opened to 425 and was called by Ami Barer and Bastian Winde Harbo en route to a {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. The action checked to Barer who bet 650. Harbo check-raised this up to 1,600 and Barer was the only caller. Both players then checked the {q-Spades}{2-Hearts} turn and river through. Harbo opened {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and took the pot as Barer folded.

No Good for Bonomo

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Three players including Justin Bonomo took in a flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. With 2,100 already in the middle of the table, Bonomo led out for 1,400. Ami Barer called and the third player ditched his hand.

The {J-Hearts} rolled over on fourth street and Bonomo heaved out a bet of 3,300. Barer stuck around.

The river was the {5-Spades} and Bonomo slowed with a checked. Barer bet 4,100 and Bonomo quickly flung his cards into the muck and watched as the pot was pushed to his opponent. Bonomo is now down to about 20,500.

More for De Meulder

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Sven Reichardt opened to 525 in middle position, Matthias De Meulder called on the button, and Philipp Hochhuth defended in the big blind.

The dealer fanned {3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, all three players checked, and the turn brought the {9-Clubs}. The trio checked again.

The river was the {5-Diamonds}, Hochhuth led out for 825, and Reichardt called. De Meulder went into the tank, eyeing Hochhuth for a read before raising to 1,825. Both of his opponents folded, and the Belgian Team Pro pulled in the pot.

Lykov Likes It

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Max Lykov and an opponent were heads up in a pot where the flop read {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Lykov's opponent checked prompting the PokerStars Team Pro to bet 525. A call allowed the {7-Clubs} to hit the turn.

Both players checked and the {K-Hearts} completed the board. A check to Lykov caused him to shoot out 1,350 and his opponent quickly got rid of his hand. Lykov took down the pot and now has about 32,000 in chips.

Nitsche Pushes Hard

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Flop: {9-Spades}{A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Steve O'Dwyer checked over to Dominik Nitsche who also tapped the table. The third player to act, Andrey Kuznetsov, fired out a bet of 1,100. O'Dwyer folded and Nitsche called the bet.

Fourth street saw the {8-Diamonds} fall and Nitsche came out swinging for 2,800. Kuznetsov stayed the course and the {7-Clubs} completed the board. Nitsche dropped 8,000 into the center of the table and Kuznetsov threw away his hand. Nitsche dragged in the pot and is now sporting about 38,500 in chips.

Two More Pots For De Meulder

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

It's been quite a good day for Belgian Team Pro Matthias De Meulder so far. Just ten minutes after posting that he won some more chips and we're back at it. De Meulder three-bet to 1,250 after Cengiz Can Ulusu had raised to 525.

Ulusu is known for flipping a coin for a huge decision at the EPT Dortmund 2009 final table. Ulusu finished eighth in that event and today he decided to call De Meulder's raise without putting on a show. The flop brought {2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Ulusu check-folded to a 1,500-chip bet.

De Meulder raised on the very next hand to 450 and the player two to his right three-bet to 1,200. The action was folded back to the Belgian who called. The flop brought {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and both players checked.

The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and De Meulder bet 2,175 into his opponent who made the call. The river brought out the {7-Spades} and quickly De Meulder bet 4,825. His opponent folded and De Meulder picked up another pot.
