Deadman Falls to Bullets

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Simon Deadman
Simon Deadman

Nicholas Petrangelo opened to 16,000 preflop before Mark Teltscher made it 43,000 on the button. The small blind cold-called but Simon Deadman moved all in for 178,000.

Petrangelo quickly folded but Teltscher took a minute before making the call, the small blind quickly folded.

Deadman: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Teltscher: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

The board came {5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and Teltscher won a big pot to eliminate his compatriot.

Ivey’s Executioner Falls

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Marcello Marigliano
Marcello Marigliano

Sebastian Von Toperczer faced off against Marcello Marigliano on a flop of {3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{j-Hearts}. Marigliano check-called a bet from Von Toperczer and they went to the turn card {2-Clubs}. Marigliano moved all in and, after a brief think, Von Toperczer made the call.

Marigliano had the nut flush draw {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} hand against the {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} middle pair of Von Toperczer.

It was Marigliano who was at risk and the river {k-Spades} was no good for him.

The man who had eliminated Phil Ivey from the tournament was now out himself, but Marigliano was walking away with €21,800 for a 56th place finish.

Kurganov Eliminates Maimone

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The first hand after the break would be the last of Nick Maimone in the EPT Season 10 Grand Final. He got his last 12,000 in with {A-}{7-} against Igor Kurganov's {J-}{J-}. The {8-}{8-}{10-}{3-}{7-} board didn't help anyone and Maimone had to leave the tournament area.

EPT10 Grand Final: Kenny Hicks Bursts the Bubble

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

With 96 players left and only 95 in the money, someone had to be the hero. Online regular Kenny 'Lonehixx' Hicks, who started the day below average has chipped up nicely and has done the remaining players a favor by knocking out the final unpaid player. He also discusses the remaining field- many of which are online friends who share a lot of history playing on PokerStars.

Three Leftover Level 18 Eliminations

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
JC Alvarado
JC Alvarado

Just before the last minute ticked off the clock in Level 18, three more players hit the rail in Carlos Mejia and JC Alvarado.

In regards to the former, he moved all in from the small blind for roughly 40,000 holding the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Conor Shelly defended the big blind with the {a-Spades}{3-Clubs}. The {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop paired Shelly, which meant Mejia's best chance of winning was a ten for Broadway. The {7-Spades} turn wasn't it, and neither was the {6-Spades} river. With that, Mejia exited the tournament.

As for Alvarado, a preflop raising war saw him get his stack of 235,000 all in as a dominant favorite against Idris Ambraisse.

Alvarado: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Ambraisse: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Unfortunately for Alvarado, he'd get extremely unlucky as the board ran out {2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Meanwhile, Marc Daubach was eliminated by Dani Stern at another table in unknown action.

Maimone Nearly Out

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Just before the break there was an All in and a call on another table as the {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} of Mark Teltscher faced off against the {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} of Nick Maimone. Another player said they had folded an nine so it was looking grim for Teltscher who was the player at risk.

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and with all the nines accounted for it was Telscher who doubled and Maimone who was left with under one big blind to come back to after the break.
