We missed the elimination of Patrik Antonius, but upon hearing of his demise we made our way over to his former table to garner some details. Fortunately, Stephen Chidwick was there and filled us in on what happened to the former tennis star.
According to Chidwick, Antonius got his stack all in holding pocket kings and was primed to double through a player holding pocket queens. Antonius held on the flop, but then the dealer burned and turned a lady to drive a dagger through his heart. The river was of no consequence, and that was all she wrote for Antonius.
Meanwhile, Peter Chan and former EPT champ Oleksii Khoroshenin have also been eliminated from the EPT11 Grand Final Main Event.

Although Patrik Antonius recently busted from the €10,600 Main Event, there's plenty more events for him to get in on, like the one-day €50,000 Super High Roller. Before he was eliminated, PokerNews' Remko Rinkema caught up with Antonius to talk about what he's been up to lately and get the lowdown on a second high-stakes tennis match against Brandon Adams.
Last time the two battled on the court, Antonius defeated Adams easily. According to Antonius, Adams has improved his game, so the match will be a little bit more competitive. Antonius will also start each of his serves down 0-30.
Check out the interview:
Six levels are in the books, and that means it's time for the 75-minute dinner break. When they return, the remaining players will play two more levels before bagging and tagging for the night.

Martin Jacobson defended his big blind from Georgios Sotiropoulos' open from under the gun. On a flop of both players checked, but Jacobson bet out 3,500 on the turn card which was the . Sotiropoulos quickly called and the river brought the . This time the reigning WSOP Main Event champion checked, and his opponent made it 4,800.
Throughout the hand both players had been staring at eachother, with Jacobson being met only by the glasses of the player seated directly to his left. The Swedish pro frowned as he looked between the board and Sotiropoulos' bet. He eventually folded, and could do with some chips as his stack shifted below starting stack.
