Mandic's Stack is Missing

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

It had been a rather unkind day at the poker table for both Jason Mercier and Goran Mandic. Both were rather short-stacked as of recently and sat next to each other. Mandic open-shoved from the small blind with {J-}{9-} and Mercier called with pocket sixes. There was a nine on the flop but a six appeared right away on the turn to crush all hopes of a comeback for the Croat.

Yoon's Straight Gets Paid Off

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Adam Jaguscik raised to 11,000 from under the gun and Brian Yoon called on the button to see a flop of {3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{J-Spades}. Jaguscik checked and then called a bet of Yoon before repeating the same on the {A-Clubs} turn for 32,000. The {5-Clubs} river completed the board and Jaguscik checked again.

Yoon fired 62,000 and was called to roll over {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for a straight, winning a decent pot.

Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

After losing most of his chips against Brian Roberts, Isaac Haxton was able to spin up the short stack a bit. It didn't last long though, when the PokerStars Team Online Pro shoved from the small blind for less than 10 big blinds with the {A-}{5-}. Sean Winter called from one seat over, holding the {K-}{Q-}, and got there on the board {Q-}{10-}{9-}{3-}{5-}.

Jouhkimainen Busts in Two Hands

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Joni Jouhkimainen and PokerStars Team Pro Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier see a flop of {J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and a raising war broke out. Jouhkimainen check-raised from 9,000 to 22,000 and then shoved when ElkY had squeezed to 39,000. Grospellier called with the {J-Spades}{6-Spades} and was covered by roughly two big blinds, Jouhkimainen was on the other end of the cooler with the {J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

The {K-Diamonds} turn gave the Finn a flush draw, but the {6-Hearts} river completed a full house for the Team Pro.

With 11,500 chips left, Jouhkimainen got it in with the {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and initial raiser David Peters called with {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. The superior kicker played a crucial role on the board {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{K-Spades}{4-Hearts} and that was it for the Finn.

Hossein Ensan shoved short from the small blind and Stephen Chidwick called all in for less.

Ensan: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Chidwick; {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The {q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop was a good one for Chidwick, increasing his chances at a double up by handing him top pair, however, the turn came the {3-Clubs} and the river the {6-Clubs} and Ensan four-flushed to send him packing.

David Peters made it 11,000 on the button and Dan Smith shoved the small blind.
