Daniel Dvoress Done

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

After losing a pot to Mustapha Kanit just now where he had to fold on the river, Daniel Dvoress was short. The next hand Jeff Rossiter raised to 55,000 from the cutoff and Dvoress moved in from the small blind for 310,000. Nick Petrangelo gave up his big blind, Rossiter made the call.

Daniel Dvoress: {10-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Jeff Rossiter: {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Dvoress had already wished the players good luck on the turn. Exit for Dvoress, Rossiter still below average.

Yu Doubles With Aces

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

In the previous hand, Winfred Yu open-shoved for 261,000 from under the gun and won the blinds and antes. Straight after, the action folded around to Anton Bertilsson in the small blind and he open-shoved with the {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Yu had found some big blind magic with the {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and doubled on a board of {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Johnson Flops Set and Gets Paid

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Kevin Johnson raised to 55,000 from early position and Timothy Adams called in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Adams checked to the pre-flop aggressor who bet 60,000. Adams called and the pair saw the {7-Spades} on the turn. Again Adams checked and this time Johnson bet 175,000. Adams called and the river was the {7-Diamonds}. Adams checked for a third time and eventually check-called Johnson's bet of 300,000.

However, Adams mucked when Johnson showed {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. A few hands ago tablemate Charlie Carrel had remarked how Johnson "couldn't win every pot", but he laughed and corrected himself as Johnson raked in the pot

Small Pot for Sammartino

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Ivan Luca took down yet another sizable pot and then raised to 52,000 from under the gun and Dario Sammartino called in the big blind. On the flop {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Sammartino check-called a bet of 32,000 and then bet the {8-Spades} turn for what looked like 40,000. Luca called but let go the {A-Clubs} river to another bet of the Italian.

Kevin MacPhee Eliminated

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Action folded to Chance Kornuth in the small blind and he raised to 53,000. From the big blind Kevin MacPhee shoved all in for about 290,000 and Kornuth made the call.

Chance Kornuth: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Kevin MacPhee: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The flop came {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} giving Kornuth a straight while MacPhee made two pair. The {3-Hearts} on the turn was a blank and the {2-Diamonds} didn't do MacPhee any good either.

Kornuth Doubles Through Jacobson

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

From late position, Martin Jacobson raised to 55,000. Chance Kornuth in the blinds three-bet to 127,000. Action got back on Jacobson and he four-bet to 225,000. Kornuth shoved all in for 774,000 and Jacobson instantly called.

Chance Kornuth: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Martin Jacobson: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

Jacobson was the heavy favorite, but would get out flopped: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. The {J-Clubs} on the turn and {A-Hearts} on the river filled up Kornuth and Jacobson parted ways with most of his chips.
