Floor staff just came over with two tickets of fresh bust outs and that included Ibrahim Ghassan and Peder Behr. Both departed from table 16 and a quick glance at said table revealed one big stack, who is no unknown either. Michael Gathy boasts more than two times the starting stack and the Belgian had pocket aces versus tens and jacks, another ace on the flop sealed it.

Jiachen Gong opened form middle position to 500 and Matt Haugen called from the small blind. Lorenzo Lavis in the big blind decided to raise to 2,000 before Gong four-bet to 4,600. All this action forced Haugen out of the pot before Lavis moved all-in for his remaining 17,000 or so chips. Gong snap-called.

On the turn, the action was checked around to Niko Koop and the Russian made it 2,400 to go. Two opponents including Hani Bahna called and the fell on the river. Now Koop fired 6,200 when it was his turn to act, only Bahna tossed in the chips after some consideration and then mucked when Koop flashed for a straight.
