Andrew Chen

Over on the feature table, Andrew Chen made a move against Gilles Bernies and got his stack in to create a pot of more than 350,000. The German took his time before the call and then found himself way ahead.

Bernies: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and the jacks held up, eliminating Chen.

MacNamara Chips Up at Expense of Deyra

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Players were all-in on a board of {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs} with Deyra at risk and behind holding {a-Spades}{7-Spades} to MacNamara's {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Needing runner runner full house outs, Deyra didn't get there as the board bricked {6-Spades}{9-Spades} eliminating him and chipping up MacNamara in the process

Neuville Doubles Through McDonald

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Pierre Neuville
Pierre Neuville

From early position, Pierre Neuville opened for 16,000. Action folded to Mike McDonald on the button and the Canadian high roller three-bet to 38,000. Both blinds folded, Neuville called.

The Belgian pensionado checked on {6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts} and McDonald followed his preflop aggression up with an all in. Neuville had 131,000 left at this point, and called just about instantly.

Pierre Neuville: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Mike McDonald: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The {2-Spades} on the turn was a safe card for Neuville, and so was the {Q-Spades} on the river. Double up for the November Niner, while McDonald slips down to just over quarter a million.

Shine On You Crazy Diamond

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Ireland's own Cathal Shine shipped it in from early position for around 80,000 and Axdrian Mateos made the call in the big blind with the {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

Shine was in a flip for his tournament life with the {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}, and his pair managed to hold on a {k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} board, giving him the double up.

Kruk Busts Zinno; Up to a Million

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Christopher Kruk raised to 13,000 and Yang Zhang called from the cutoff before Anthony Zinno then squeezed all in for his last 41,000. Kruk reraised to 72,000 and Zhang folded.

Zinno: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Kruk: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

"That's a pretty good spot for you," Kruk said before the flop fell {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Zinno just smiled back, accepting his fate, and the {5-Diamonds} turn and {6-Hearts} river blanked to send him to the rail. The American will most likely be back for the 10k High Roller tomorrow, though. Kruk in the meanwhile has become the first player with more than one million in chips.
