Alexios Zervos
Alexios Zervos

Alexios Zervos just raised to 28,000 and Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst three-bet from his direct left to 62,000. The action folded back to Zervos and he moved all in for about 360,000.

Selbst called right away.

Zervos: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Selbst: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{K-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Selbst raked in a big pot that sent the Greek pro to the rail.

Soshnikov Shoves, Exits

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ivan Soshnikov jammed in on a {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop and Mahomed Aissani called with the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

Aissani's top pair was good versus Soshnikov's {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} middle pair, and it held after the {2-Spades} turn and {j-Clubs} river, to send Soshnikov home.

Weber BBQ'd

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ruediger Weber got it in preflop with the {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} versus EPT title holder Aaron Gustavson's {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

He made a set on the {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades} board to the turn, but the {10-Spades} also made Gustavson Broadway. The {9-Diamonds} did not give Weber a full house and, as a a result, he hit the rail.

Dowling Flips For It

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Chris Dowling
Chris Dowling

Chris Dowling got it all in during a battle of the blinds with Ariel Celestino that saw a couple pf raises back and forth.

In the end, Dowling's tournament life was riding on the {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} in a flip with Celestino's {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Dowling took it on a {q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} board to double up, and knock Celestino down from his peak of just over one million chips.
