Viacheslav Buldygin, who finished runner-up to Dietrich Fast for €126,300 in the opening €10,000 High Roller, has just doubled up before the break.
He open raised to 2,200 from the cutoff and Philipp Gruissem three-bet to 6,400 from the big blind. Buldygin called and called the 6,000-continuation bet on as well.
The hit the turn and Gruissem moved all in. Buldygin called instantly for his last 23,100 with and had Gruissem with the drawing dead. The on the river was a blank and Buldygin went into the break with twice as big a stack.
Towards the end of the level, Sam Greenwood scooped two pots without showdown to slowly build his stack again.
In the first hand, he checked on the turn and then faced a bet of 8,000 by Juha Helppi in under the gun. Greenwood shoved for 33,600 out of the big blind and that forced a fold from Helppi.
Soon after it was the Canadian again with the pressure. The board was reading and Paul Newey checked in the big blind with around 25,000 behind. Greenwood slid forward blue T-5,000 chips to cover that and Newey folded.
Mikita Badziakouski opened for 2,200 from the hijack and his neighbor Pratyush Buddiga pushed from the cutoff for 9,200. Action folded back to Badziakouski and he called.
Pratyush Buddiga:

The board ran out and Buddiga hit the rail minutes before the last break of the day.
We missed the hand, but EPT champion Adrian Mateos told us how he had just eliminated EPT Malta winner Niall Farrell.
Mateos raised under the gun and Behzad Ahadpour called in position. Farrel, short stacked and in the big blind, called as well. Farrel front pushed on rainbow and Mateos raised to 15,000. Ahadpour folded and Farrell showed . Mateos had and Farrell failed to improve.
The hand started off rather inconspicuously, with Connor Drinan opening the action from middle position and [Removed:17] defending his big blind.
Then, before any subsequent action took place, Drinan checked.
The floor got called over, and it took Drinan some time to convince the brush he was just goofing around. Nevertheless, if Yan didn't bet, the action would stand. As it was, the flop came , Yan checked and Drinan had to check behind.
On the turn, Yan checked and Drinan bet 5,000. Yan flicked in the call.
"All In," Drinan suddenly said.
It was before the river card was even dealt, and the dealer instantly called over the floor again. Drinan might have been goofing around before, but with the previous ruling made, it was clear what would happen: if Yan didn't change the action, Drinan's verbal all in declaration would be binding.
Yan elected to check the that appeared on the river. Drinan had to move all in, as per the ruling, which was for his tournament life. Yan had to call a bet of 21,700, and gave it thirty seconds of thought before calling.
Connor Drinan:
[Removed:17]:
"Nice call," Drinan quipped.
Yan's pair of queens was enough to send the EPT Barcelona €10,000 High Roller packing in rather unusual fashion. Drinan elected to re-enter right away, giving him a fresh stack of 50,000 to play with.
It was three-way to the turn, with Charlie Carrel from the big blind, Ali Reza Fatehi from middle position and Alexandros Kolonias on the button.
The board was reading with 12,000 chips in the middle. It was checked to Kolonias who fired out a bet of 7,000. Both, Carrel and Fatehi called and the landed on the river.
Carrel and Fatehi checked again and Kolonias thought for about a minute, before shoving all-in for 36,000. Carrel called and Fatehi got out of the way.
The Greek tabled for the rivered straight and that was enought against Carrel's . Kolonias more than doubled his second bullet stack and breaks the 100,000 mark.
A Hyper Satellite with single re-entry is underway with some 13 players. The eventual winner(s) will start on Day 2 with the initial stack of 50,000, which equals out to 25 big blinds upon restart. Among those to take part are Kamran Aliyev, Theo Jorgensen, Georgios Karakousis, Iliodoros Kamatakis and Alex Difelice.

Kitai quickly got out of the way, but Buldygin needed some more time to release his cards into the muck as well.
