Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

Michael Addamo has taken over as the chip leader in the EPT Prague High Roller as the total remaining players fell below 50.

Jiayu Ruan, who was recently sat with a stack of around 300,000, has departed from his seat next to Addamo. It would seem that Ruan's chips have been passed in Addamo's direction with the Australian now sat with 890,000.

Also to depart recently is Leonardo Mancuso.

Van Putten Bests Antonius

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

On a {4-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} river Patrik Antonius checked to Jasper Meijer Van Putten who bet 45,000.

Antonius didn't look to impressed and used two time extensions before calling.

Van Putten showed {3-Clubs}{8-Spades} for trip eights and Antonius mucked.

"So ridiculous," he muttered as he handed over the chips to his opponent.

The board was down {3-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, and there were close to 150,000 chips in the middle. Daniel Dvoress bet 110,000 from the big blind, and Sam Grafton called from the cutoff and left himself with 160,000 behind.

The river card was the {10-Spades}, and Dvoress needed to use a time-extension to think over his next move. Nearly a minute had passed in total before Dvoress announced all in for around 400,000.

Grafton went into the tank and used three time-extensions while he mulled over whether to put his tournament life on the line or not. Ultimately, after two minutes had gone by, the Brit opted to fold, and Dvoress picked up one of the biggest pots of the tournament so far.

Carrel did call, however, and Plesuv tabled {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} for queen high, and Carrel won the pot after he tabled {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a straight.
