Addamo Wins First Big Pot of the Final Table

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

Stefan Huber opened to 24,000 from under the gun. Charlie Carrel called in the cutoff and Michael Addamo called in the big blind.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and the three players each checked. Addamo bet 70,000 on the {2-Diamonds} turn. Huber folded and Carrel called.

The river was the {7-Diamonds}. Addamo used up two of his time extensions before betting 80,000.

"Hmm," said Carrel. "I'm not going to raise." He thought for a short while longer before calling.

Addamo turned over {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for a set and won the pot, extending his chip lead.

Adams Busts; Field Down to Nine

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Pavel Plesuv opened to 22,000 first to act and Adams shoved from the big blind for around ten big blinds. Plesuv called.

Pavel Plesuv: {q-}{q-}
Timothy Adams: {10-}{10-}

There was no help for Adams with Plesuv's queens holding. The remaining nine players are now redrawing around a single table.

Boivin Doubles Loosli

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Thomas Boivin opened for 27,000 from the cutoff and big blind Sylvain Loosli called. Loosli shoved for 51,000 on {4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Boivin called.

Sylvain Loosli: {9-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Thomas Boivin: {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Boivin would end up making a full house, but it would be no good as the {9-Diamonds} on the turn and the {9-Clubs} on the river made Loosli quads so he doubled.

Dvoress and Bosca Next to Bust

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress has been eliminated, with his seat being taken by Charlie Carrel who has been moved from another table. Blind on blind between Carrel and Vicent Bosca, the two players checked before Carrel bet 20,0000.

Bosca called and Carrel bet 35,000 on the {4-Diamonds} river. "Get that ace-jack out of there," said Carrel.

Bosca called and Carrel showed {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for top pair.

On the very next hand, Bosca shoved 82,000 from the small blind and Orpen Kisacikoglu pondered a call in the big blind. Eventually he did call.

Vicent Bosca: {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Orpen Kisacikoglu: {q-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Bosca was ahead, but a nine on the {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop and the {9-Clubs} on the turn sent him to the rail before the {2-Spades} could even appear on the river.

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ryan Riess opened the cutoff and called Pedro Marques' big blind shove for just over 200,000.

Ryan Riess: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Pedro Marques: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Marques got up and gathered his belongings. Eleven players remain.

Short Break

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Because Michael Addamo is feeling really sick, all the players have agreed to take a 5-minute break so he can go to the bathroom. The clock is paused with 22 minutes remaining in Level 11.

Adams Doubles Up Twice

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With Timothy Adams automatically all in from the big blind, Orpen Kisacikoglu called blind and the dealer ran the cards. The board came {4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

Adams showed a {7-Clubs} and Kisacikoglu showed the {10-Clubs}. Adams then showed the {5-Diamonds} for a pair and despite rubbing the last card for luck, Kisacikoglu could only show the {2-Spades} and Adams doubled up.

On the very next hand, after Vicent Bosca shoved, Adams called in the small blind with {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} and held against the {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} of Bosca for another double.
