Addamo Busts to Schillhabel

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

We only got there on the river but got the details from one of our colleagues who were there for the entire hand.

Michael Addamo opened for 17,000 under the gun and his neighbor, Stefan Schillhabel, three-bet to 50,000. It folded to back to Addamo and he called.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Addamo checked. Schillhabel bet 40,000 and, according to our colleague, Addamo check-raised to 90,000. Schillhabel called.

They both checked the {8-Clubs} on the turn and the {Q-Hearts} completed the board. Addamo shoved and Schillhabel called instantly, showing {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} right away. Addamo tabled {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and hit the rail.

Addamo is no longer playing in this event while Schillhabel has about 800,000 in front of him.

Crumbs for O'Dwyer

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Tuan Tran opened for 20,000 in the cutoff and Steve O'Dwyer shoved in the small blind. Tuan broke into loud song as he slid his stack in and he had reason to be pleased as his {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} dominated {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}. The board ran out {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, much to the delight of Tran, who continue his song as O'Dwyer was left with a handful of big blinds after sending 157,000 over.

"Guantanabera!"

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

From middle position, Steve O'Dwyer opened for 18,000. The action folded to Tuan Tran in the big blind and he shoved. While O'Dwyer contemplated to call or fold to the shove, Tran started singing his version of The Sandpipers' "Guantanamera."

"He makes a good point," Carrel said from one table over.

"Not if you're Spanish," Kisacikoglu replied laughing.

While Tran continued his best attempt at singing the song, which mostly consisted of rhythmically saying the one word that gave the song it's title, O'Dwyer tossed in a time bank chip to make up his mind.

O'Dwyer eventually folded.

"Guantanabera! Ah he folded," Tran said, "Why you think so long if you're folding?" Tran continued.

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

On a completed board of {6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, Andras Nemeth fired a pot-sized bet of 100,000 from the big blind and Sam Grafton jammed for 396,000. Nemeth got the count and called fairly quickly.

Grafton revealed {10-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a bluff and Nemeth showed {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a flush.

Updated Chip Counts

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Luc Greenwood Eliminates Helppi

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Juha Helppi checked a {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop after defending big blind and shoved for 123,000 over a bet from Luc Greenwood worth 25,000. Greenwood said he was "90 percent calling" and he did indeed call after getting the count.

Luc Greenwood: {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Helppi: {9-}{8-}

Helppi was dominated and got up to leave but the {7-Diamonds} was a great turn for him as he picked up a straight draw. The {3-Diamonds} didn't do it for him, though.

Greenwood Doubles Xu

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Liang Xu
Liang Xu

Sam Greenwood opened to 19,000 under the gun and Liang Xu on the button three-bet to 50,000. Both blinds opted to fold and Greenwood called to see a flop.

Greenwood checked on {6-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Xu bet 50,000. Greenwood shoved and Xu snap called for 308,000 total.

Liang Xu: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Sam Greenwood: {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {K-Spades} on the turn was a good card for Greenwood but the {6-Clubs} on the river rendered that turn irrelevant. Double up for Xu, back to just over starting stack for Greenwood.

Nemeth Eliminates Adams

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Timothy Adams shoved in the small blind for 86,000 and Andras Nemeth called in the big with {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Adams had a slight edge with {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} but the {8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} board gave Nemeth a winning king-high flush.

Kisacikoglu Busts Soyza and Margereson in Thriller Hand

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Orpen Kisacikoglu opened the pot with a raise from early position and found callers in two positions; Christopher Soyza in the hijack and Scott Margereson on the button.

The flop of {6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{K-Hearts} saw initial raiser Kisacikoglu check. Soyza made a bet of around 30,000 and Margereson called. Kisacikoglu now check-raised to 150,000 and Soyza shoved for 160,000 total. Margereson over shoved for 299,000 and Kisacikoglu, having thought it over for a bit, eventually called to put of his opponents at risk.

Christopher Soyza: {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Scott Margereson: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Orpen Kisacikoglu: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}

The {K-Diamonds} on the turn paired the board but it was the {A-Diamonds} on the river that made for the true uproar.

"Sickness," Soyza said about the hand, "So sick!"

Margereson and Soyza got up and left, Kisacikoglu started building massive new tours of chips.
