Jiang Takes from [Removed:433]

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

After having doubled just a few minutes ago, [Removed:432] gave away pretty much all of those chips again in a hand with Honglin Jiang. The latter had defended his big blind and bet the {J-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{J-Clubs} turn for 55,000, [Removed:433] called. On the {3-Diamonds} river, Jiang bet 125,000 and [Removed:433] quickly called.

Jiang rolled over {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a full house and [Removed:433] mucked.

Thomas Pettersson Eliminated in 24th Place (€20,300)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Thomas Pettersson
Thomas Pettersson

A short-stacked Andre Akkari shoved 160,000 in early position. An even shorter Thomas Pettersson called all in for 96,000 from the small blind. Josip Simunic asked for a count then called from the big blind, putting both players at risk.

Thomas Pettersson: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Andre Akkari: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Josip Simunic: {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} to give Simunic a flush draw and potential to knock both players out. The turn {9-Clubs} gave even more outs, but the {2-Hearts} on the river wasn't one of them.

Pettersson was the first out after the redraw and went to the payout desk to collect €20,300.

[Removed:433] Doubles Through Petruzzelli

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Federico Petruzzelli jammed in the small blind for 207,000 effective and [Removed:432] snapped in the big with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. He was miles ahead of {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and the {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} looked sweat-free. However, a {9-Clubs} did fall on the turn. The river brought the {q-Diamonds}, no help to Petruzzelli, and he shipped a double to his neighbor.

Saout Bubbles the Redraw

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Antoine Saout
Antoine Saout

Antoine Saout jammed under the gun for 327,000. David Peters was in the next seat and evaluated the stacks behind him before dropping in a call. Everyone else folded.

David Peters: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Antoine Saout: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Saout was in bad shape and it got a lot worse when {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flopped. Any hope for the Frenchman was extinguished when the {a-Diamonds} gave Peters quads and the river was a {7-Clubs}.

Kitai Gets There

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

Davidi Kitai raised to 35,000 from under the gun with {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}, Josip Simunic called to his left with {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}, Krisztian Gyorgyi called from the small blind with {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Alexis Fleur peeled {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} from the big blind.

The flop was {J-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, giving Simunic top pair. Kitai continued with 28,000, Simunic called and the other players folded. The {10-Diamonds} on the turn gave Simunic a flush draw to go with his top pair. Kitai fired a second barrel worth 62,000 and Simunic once again called.

The {Q-Clubs} on the river improved Kitai to the best hand and both players checked. Kitai collected the pot with a slight grin after seeing Simunic' hand.

More for Mateos and Petruzzelli

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Nicolas Dumont raised to 35,000 first to act and folded to a three-bet by Federico Petruzzelli, who had clicked it up to 125,000.

Soon after a battle of the blinds on the same table saw Tomas Jozonis in the small blind check a {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and Adrian Mateos bet 140,000 in the big blind, Jozonis folded.

Petruzzelli raised to 43 in the small blind two hands later and was called by Gavin O'Rourke in the big blind. Petruzzelli's first barrel for 68,000 on the {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop was called by O'Rourke, before the {K-Clubs} turn went check, check. Petruzzelli bet the {K-Spades} river for 345,000 and O'Rourke folded.

Antonius Involved in the Action

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

On a flop of {J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, Patrik Antonius in the big blind checked and called a bet of 100,000 by Sadri Saleh in the hijack before checking again the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn. Saleh moved all in for 240,000 and forced a fold.

One hand later, Stefan Huber, who had taken a chunk out of the stack of Carl-Fredrik Tingvall before the Swede busted, made it 37,000 to go from the cutoff. Antonius three-bet to 115,000 from the small blind and Huber called. The flop fell {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and a continuation bet of 85,000 by Antonius did the trick to end the hand right there.

Abouaf Eliminates Tingvall

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Carl-Fredrik Tingvall
Carl-Fredrik Tingvall

We found Carl-Fredrik Tingvall all in for about 410,000 on the button with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} but he needed help as Dan Abouaf had {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} in the big blind. The board ran out {4-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Tingvall headed to payouts while Abouaf stacked seven figures.
