Halfway through Level 14, there are 500 players left on Day 1c of the €1,100 EPT National. Play will continue until there are 280 players left, who will all be in the money for Day 2.
Day 1d has already seated 585 alternates and currently has 856 players in total. 610 of them are still in contention in the final flight of the night, which will finish around the same time as Day 1c.
Earlier this tournament, Leonidas Andriopoulos cracked aces with ace-king to survive for his tournament life. Perhaps it was a classic case of 'meant to be', as Andriopoulos now sits at 315,000 and is one of the big stacks in the room.
This time, Andriopoulos held the bullets and called off a check-shove of around 60,000 on a board where his opponent held a flush draw. The board bricked for the player at risk and Andriopoulos added to his stack.
