The big blind ante dynamic created a very interesting situation involving Daisuke Ogita and Takumi Samejima. Players were sat next to one another with Ogita under the gun.

Despite of this, if both players folded and were subsequently eliminated when Samejima was in his big blind, it would be Samejima - the short stack at the moment - who would collect the payout because he would have more chips at the time he was all in.
Therefore, the onus was on Ogita to double up or at least chip up. He shoved from under the gun for 25,000 - Samejima folded - and Rafael Moraes called blind in the big blind.
