Papuc Scores Double Knockout; Extends his Lead

Giulio Mascolo opened to 30,000 from the cutoff leaving 1,000 behind, Petru Papuc three-bet to 60,000 from the button, and Ricardo Tannoury four-bet shoved from the small blind for about 115,000. Mascolo went deep into the tank for a few minutes, and eventually the clock got called on him. Within a few seconds left, he put his last 1,000 in the middle. Papuc made the call as well.

Ivan Deyra started the day with a mere 40,000 but was sporting a much healthier stack just after the break of around 350,000.

Action folded to Deyra on the button who looked at Sergio Benso's stack in the big blind. The player in the small blind got up from his chair too to see how much he had behind. Deyra then decided to raise to 38,000. The small blind folded and Benso took some time before announcing he was all-in for just over 100,000. Deyra quickly flicked in some chips for the call.
