McGovern Cracks Aces; Busts Moreira Da Rocha

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Barry McGovern pushed first to act for 575,000 and Rui Moreira Da Rocha moved all in over the top for another 30,000 more, all other players at the table folded.

Barry McGovern: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Rui Moreira Da Rocha: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop gave McGovern a pair and flush draw, and he spiked two pair on the {q-Hearts} turn. A blank {4-Hearts} followed on the rive and Moreira Da Rocha was reduced to a chip and a chair story. He pushed in the next hand and Natale Barilla filled up from the small blind, McGovern checked in the big blind.

Both active players checked down the {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{5-Spades} board. Barilla had the {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}, McGovern flopped a pair with {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Moreira Da Rocha had an inferior pair with the {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to join the rail.

Testud Falls to Blancas

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Stephen Song opened to 80,000 from the cutoff and Paul Testud called on the button. Ruben Garcia Blancas three-bet to 245,000 from the small blind and Song folded but Testud stuck around with a call.

The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Blancas bet 225,000. Testud responded by moving all in for about 300,000 and Blancas quickly added the remainder to call.

Paul Testud: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Ruben Garcia Blancas: {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Testud had an open-ended straight draw and Blancas had a flush draw. The {k-Hearts} turn was just what Blancas needed for a flush and the {9-Clubs} river filled up the board for him to rake in the pot and eliminate Testud.

Pons Claims Double Bustout

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The flop read {4-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} with Sonny Franco all-in in the hijack, trying to win a pot worth 240,000 in total. Inaki Aguirre Azcoitia (big blind), Marcos Codesal (cutoff), and Fernando Pons on the button were still playing for the side pot which contained 65,000 at the moment. Azcoitia checked, Codesal bet 200,000 for Pons to be the only one to make the call.

The turn brought them the {5-Hearts} and Codesal shoved his last chips in which Pons snap-called with {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Codesal held {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} while Franco had {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

The river completed the board with the {7-Diamonds} which gave all of them a full house but gave Pons the best one to eliminate both of his opponents.
