Adams Takes Hajiyev Out

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ramin Hajiyev shoved from the button for just over 40,000 and was called by Timothy Adams in the big blind.

Raming Hajiyev: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Timothy Adams: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The flop came {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{a-Spades} to give Adams trip aces immediately and leave Hajiyev drawing dead.

The {7-Diamonds} on the turn and the {4-Hearts} on the river was just another formality to complete the board as Hajiyev was sent to the rail together with Alexander Uskov.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Hajiyev check-called the 10,000 continuation-bet of Badziakouski.

Hajiyev did the same when the {10-Hearts} was turned and Badziakouski bet 20,000.

The river completed the board with the {4-Clubs}, Hajiyev checked for the last time and now Badziakouski bet 60,000. Hajiyev looked at his cards once more and then opted to fold.

Foxen Short, Simao Keeps Building

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

In a button versus small blind confrontation, Alex Foxen's hand was already in the muck while Sam Greenwood's {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} was showing on {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Foxen paid off the Canadian and was left with just 9,000.

At an adjacent table, Joao Simao got several streets of value with {8-}{8-} on a {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} board. Simao bet 13,000 on the turn and what appeared to be 24,000 on the river, Rainer Kempe called it off but lost to the set.

Orpen Kisacikoglu and Bryn Kenney weren't able to spin it back up and busted their short stacks.

Richard Yong: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Bryn Kenney

Two players who reentered at the start of the day, Bryn Kenney and Joao Simao, got involved right off the bat. It was Kenney who opened to 6,000 from the cutoff, Simao who called on the button and Charlie Carrel who defended the big blind.

On a {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop, Kenney bet 11,000, Simao shoved, Carrel folded, and Kenney snap-called.

Joao Simao: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Bryn Kenney: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The turn {2-Clubs} and river {j-Clubs} river gave Kenney a straight but Simao the nut flush. Kenney was left with a single T-1,000 chip afterwards.
