Jozonis vs Kvilhaug

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Jack Sinclair and Tomas Jozonis were eliminated on Day 1a and take another shot in Day 1b, and they happen to be on the same starting table thus far.

Sinclair already bumped up his stack while Jozonis took a hit, but the third-place finisher of the previous year just recovered some losses against Evy Kvilhaug. Jozonis three-bet to 1,300 preflop and was called to see a flop of {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Kvilhaug called a bet of 1,200 and Jozonis check-raised the {q-Spades} turn from 1,600 to 5,000.

"You have around 10 behind?" Kvilhaug asked and Jozonis nodded. That ended the hand right there, as Kvilhaug sent her cards into the muck.

Further assorted counts can be found below.

Evard Ships It In

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

On a {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, Francois Evard bet 1,000 and Ben Farrell check-called. Waldemar Blex check-raised to 2,500, Evard shoved all in, covering both Farrell and Blex, and both of them snap-folded their hands.

Radziewicz Takes From Lau

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

On a heads up turn of {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, PokerStars qualifier Wojciech Radziewicz checked out of the big blind and Alan Lau made it 1,500 to go from the button. Radziewicz called and bet the {4-Spades} river for 5,000. Lau studied his opponent for a few moments and sent his cards into the muck.

Jiaming Eliminated by Soria

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Huan Jiaming raised to 300 and Rolando Soria three-bet to 900, which was called at least one more way before Jiaming also came along. On the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, only Jiaming check-called a bet of 2,000 and they headed to the {q-Clubs} turn.

Jiaming checked, Soria bet 4,000 and Jiaming check-raised to 9,000 after long consideration only for Soria to move all in. What followed was another think tank by Jiaming and the clock was called on him. Eventually, the call followed and the cards were turned over.

Huan Jiaming: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Rolando Soria: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Jiaming was drawing dead already, and the {8-Spades} river was a blank. Besides Michael Wang, Luca Maccatrozzo has also already chipped up on the same table.

Nuts for Wellenbach

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Action was on the river and there was 12,500 in the middle, with two players facing a {8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} board. Nathan Gozlan checked and Scott Wellenbach bet half pot, setting 6,000 chips over the line. Gozlan tanked and apologised for taking his time when a couple of minutes had passed. He made the call but mucked when Wellenbach tabled {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the flush.
