Aksnes Wins Pot Amid Some Controversy

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Up on the stage a hand played out in which the {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} turn brought a bet of Bard Aksnes and a raise to 13,000 by Erhan Dogan.

Aksnes immediately said call, then said "I am calling" which Dogan understood to be "I am all-in." They called the floor to explain the situation and it was ruled as a call.

Aksnes then bet the {2-Clubs} river for 15,000 and Dogan folded after some consideration.

Further counts of notables on the same table can be found below.

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Paulius Lipskis raised to 2,200 from the middle position and was called by Refael Dahan in the hijack. Jan van de Stroom shoved for 19,400 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Lipskis who folded and Dahan called.

Jan van de Stroom: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Refael Dahan: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for Dahan to hit a pair of kings on the flop to send Van de Stroom to the rail.

Candelari announced an eight and tabled the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}, which ended up winning the pot.

Two tables over, Joao Mestre Ferreira check-called a bet of 3,200 by Stanislav Koleno on the {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and did so again for 6,600 on the {6-Spades} turn. Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Down to a mere 6,200, Nusret Atmaca jammed for 6,200 and was called by Dominik Locher.

Atmaca was in need of a lot of help with {k-Spades}{4-Hearts} versus {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and the {j-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} board provided just that.
