Pierre Calamusa

Pierre Calamusa shoved from the cutoff for 300,000 and Luke Marsh asked for a count in the small blind. The dealer confirmed the amount and Marsh shoved to isolate and Dominik Panka quickly folded.

Pierre Calamusa: {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Luke Marsh: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Both players got up from their chairs and shook hands.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} to keep Marsh ahead.

The turn was the {a-Spades} which didn't help Calamusa and neither did the {4-Hearts} on the river as the Frenchman was sent to the payout desk in 20th place for €38,900.

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Fidan Zahiti
Fidan Zahiti

In the penultimate hand of the level on the outer tables, Akin Tuna raised to 55,000 from under the gun and was called by Mikalai Pobal from one seat over. Fidan Zahiti jammed the cutoff for 215,000 and Stefan Egermann called on the button, Tuna and Pobal sent their cards into the muck.

Fidan Zahiti: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Stefan Egermann: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop gave Egermann a flushdraw on top of his superior kicker and he held onto the lead on the {6-Spades} turn and {j-Spades} river runout. Zahiti missed the pay jump and has to settle for 21st place and €33,300 for his efforts.

Morten Hvam pointed out that he had the better pair and Tuna then flipped over both cards, it were the {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, to claim the pot.

Laurent Michot
Laurent Michot

Wing Sang Lee opened to 55,000 and Laurent Michot three-bet all in for 155,000 from the big blind.

Lee thought about it before calling with {7-Spades}{8-Spades} and was up against the {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} of Michot.

The flop {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} gave Lee a gutshot, but Michot's ace-high held on the {4-Clubs}{6-Hearts} board and he doubled up.

Pobal Rising; Zahiti Dropping

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Mikalai Pobal won a big pot off Akin Tuna when the {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop brought a chck-raise of Tuna from 125,000 to 250,000 and he called the reraise to 475,000 by Pobal. They checked the {2-Diamonds} turn and Tuna bet the {10-Diamonds} river. Tuna tabled ace-four for trips and no diamond while Pobal had {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for the second nut flush to drag in a very healthy pot.

Norbert Szecsi then raised and picked up a caller in Fidan Zahiti in the cutoff. Szecsi checked the {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and Zahiti bet 55,000. When Szecsi eyeballed his stack, Zahiti immediately said "four hundred and fifty" referring to his own stack size at the start of the hand. Szecsi called and they checked the {5-Hearts} turn.

Szecsi bet the {a-Hearts} river for 375,000, which covered the remaining stack of Zahiti, and the Swede used two time banks before folding and exposing {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} to table neighbor Stefan Egermann.
