Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Gab Yong Kim
Gab Yong Kim

Gab Yong Kim raised to 50,000 from the button with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Pierre Calamusa three-bet to 175,000 in the big blind with {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} which Kim called.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for Kim to hit a pair of eights but keep Calamusa ahead. Calamusa bet 150,000 and Kim called after looking at his cards once more.

The turn was the {4-Spades} to keep things the same. Calamusa barreled a bet of 400,000 into the pot. Kim took some time and then called after using a time bank card.

The river completed the board with the {8-Clubs} to give Kim trips. Calamusa shoved and Kim snap-called for the 610,000 he had behind to double up.

Zahiti Getting Short Once More

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Mikalai Pobal raised the button to 50,000 and Fidan Zahiti called out of the big blind.

Zahiti opted to bet the {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop for 65,000 and Pobal just called, which then led to the {a-Diamonds} on the turn. Zahiti now checked and called a bet of 110,000 by Pobal.

The {6-Hearts} on the turn slowed down the action and both checked. Zahiti revealed {8-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Pobal had the best of it with {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for a pair of queens.

Zahiti Loses Two Small Pots

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Morten Hvam raised and was called by Fidan Zahiti in the big blind. On the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop, Zahiti checked and snap-called a bet of 50,000 by Hvam. They checked the {7-Diamonds} turn and the {q-Diamonds} river, and Zahiti tabled the {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Hvam had that beat with the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and Zahiti shook his head.

One hand later, Vlastimil Pustina opened to 50,000 from under the gun and he was called by Zahiti in the small blind and Stefan Egermann in the big blind. The {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop was checked and Zahiti bet the {6-Spades} turn for 65,000, only Egermann came along.

After the {j-Spades} river, Zahiti checked and Egermann now bet 75,000.

While trying to get some information via table chat, Zahiti used two bank extensions and eventually made the call. Egermann turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and that won the pot.
