Defending Champion Houzvicek Bubbles Redraw

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Matous Houzvicek
Matous Houzvicek

Sergey Petrushevskiy opened and Matous Houzvicek defended his big blind.

The flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} was checked and the turn brought the {4-Hearts}. Houzvicek bet 70,000 into about 110,000 and Petrushevskiy called.

The river was the {10-Hearts}. Houzvicek jammed for approximately 450,000 and Petrushveskiy called.

Houzvicek showed {q-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a stone-cold blubff and Petrushveskiy's {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} was way ahead having rivered a flush to eliminate the defending champion.

Marat Achilov
Marat Achilov

Andrey Subbotin limped in the small blind and Marat Achilov, having shoved from under the gun one hand prior, raised all in for 195,000 from the big blind. Subbotin thought before calling.

Andrey Subotin: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Marat Achilov: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Achilov had woken up with a big hand in the big blind but an ace on the {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Diamonds} flop gave Subbotin the lead that he didn't relinquish on the {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} runout.
