Kiselev Spikes Lucky Double

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

It folded to Daniil Kiselev in the small blind who moved all in for 137,000. Mikhail Sokolovskiy called in the big blind.

Kiselev sheepishly turned over {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Sokolovskiy showed {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. The flop came {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} giving Kiselev the lead with a pair and a flush draw to boot.

The turn was the {j-Diamonds} and although Sokolovskiy celebrated the {7-Clubs} river as he himself made a pair, his joy was shortlived as he realised Kiselev had made a flush.

Subbotin Doubles Through Achilov

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In the last hand of the level, Andrey Subbotin opened to 32,000 and Marat Achilov three-bet to 90,000. No one else was interested and when the action came back to Subbotin, he four-bet all in for 338,000 total. Achilov made the call and they spun their cards on their backs.

Andrey Subbotin: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Marat Achilov: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

They were flipping as they headed into the {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{j-Spades} flop. The {10-Hearts} on the turn made Achilov a set but gave Subbotin broadway. There was no pair on the {k-Hearts} river and Achilov is down to less than 10 big blinds as the levels increase next hand.

Bilokur Wins Biggest Pot of the Tournament

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Leonid Bilokur
Leonid Bilokur

We caught the end of a massive pot between Leonid Bilokur and Vasiliy Tsapko.

Bilokur had opened and called a three-bet from Tsapko in the blinds. Bilokur called and then called a continuation bet from Tsapko on the {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds}. Tsapko bet again and Bilokur moved all in. Tsapko called.

Leonid Bilokur: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Vasiliy Tsapko: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Both players had over one million behind and Tsapko was the player at risk. The river was the {7-Diamonds} and he was eliminated, graciously coming around the table to shake Bilokur's hand before exiting the tournament area.

Kaygorodtcev Eliminated As Ved Surpasses Two Million

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Kartik Ved opened and was called by Matous Houzvicek before Andrey Kaygorodtcev three-bet to 260,000. Ved four-bet all in and Houzvicek folded. Kaygorodtcev called for his last 600,000 or so.

Andrey Kaygorodtcev: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Kartik Ved: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop wasn't a good one for Kaygorodtcev coming {q-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Spades} giving Ved the nut flush. Kaygorodtcev was dead by the {j-Clubs} turn and the {9-Clubs} river was too little too late and he was eliminated.

Ved Sticks Around

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Kartik Ved continues to build. He just won another pot after defending his big blind against an early position 33,000 open by Mikhail Zavoloka.

It was just the two of them on the {3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and Ved check-called the 25,000 continuation. He did the same versus an 85,000 barrel on the {j-Diamonds} turn.

Zavoloka didn't fire on the river and mucked when he saw Ved was holding {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for bottom pair.

Vasiliy Tsapko: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Kaygorodtcev Takes From Houzvicek

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Andrey Kaygorodtcev and Matous Houzvicek were the only players in on a {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs} flop. Kaygorodtcev was in the small blind and he bet 75,000, which Houzvicek called.

On the {k-Diamonds} turn, Kaygorodtcev barreled 240,000 all in and it was a snap fold from Houzvicek.
