Kisacikoglu Hangs On vs Adams

Level 16 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

From the cutoff, Orpen Kisacikoglu raised, Timothy Adams defended from the big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{a-Spades}. Kisacikoglu bet 13,000 and Adams made a big check-raise to 75,000, Kisacikoglu called.

The turn came the {k-Hearts}. Both players checked as the river came the {10-Clubs} they both checked once again.

"You win," said Adams and showed the {6-Spades}{4-Spades} missed flush. Kisacikoglu tabled the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} to win the pot.

"I Was Afraid of That"

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

After Stephen Chidwick opened to 25,000 in middle position, Nick Petrangelo put in 113,000 in the hijack, leaving himself a single T-1,000 chip behind.

Action folded back to Chidwick who moved all-in for slightly more than Petrangelo. After that last chip was flicked in, Petrangelo got the bad news.

Nick Petrangelo: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Stephen Chidwick: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

"I was afraid of that", said Petrangelo, as he had run into the classic preflop cooler.

The dealer put out a flop of {8-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{5-Spades} to add to Petrangelo's pain, and the {8-Hearts} on the turn finished him off, while moving Chidwick's stack into healthier territory.

Adams Keeps Getting Healthier

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

After being down to 10,000 chips just a couple of levels ago, Timothy Adams is officially a contender once again.

After his under the gun raise was three-bet in the small blind by Sam Grafton, Adams called to see a flop of {10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}.

The players each checked to see the {a-Clubs} fall on the turn, which Grafton bet for 35,000. Adams made the call, and the {5-Clubs} fell on the river.

After Grafton checked, Adams slid forward a tower worth 125,000, which Grafton quickly folded to.

Garagnani Felted Before Field Condenses

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Pedro Garagnani became the last player taken out to congeal the two remaining tables into one when his {a-Spades}{8-Spades} was shredded by the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} of Orpen Kisacikoglu.

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} and the players gathered around to play at one table.

Schemion Runs Into Grafton's Cowboys

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

From under the gun, Ole Schemion raised, Sam Grafton three-bet from early position, Schemion jammed and Grafton snap-called.

Ole Schemion: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Sam Grafton: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The board would not save Schemion as it ran out harmlessly to the kings {8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.
