Pardo Makes Right Call on Scary Board

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Juan Pardo (from Day 1)
Juan Pardo (from Day 1)

The board had four to a flush on the river as it read {j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. From under the gun, Thomas Muehloecker bet 65,000. Juan Pardo was in the big blind and considered it for almost 30 seconds before he called.

Muehloecker tabled the {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for no diamond, Pardo didn't have a diamond either as he showed the {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs} but he took the pot with the best hand with the pair of aces as he picked off the bluff to grow his stack even more.

Vogelsang Triples Up, Lakerveld Eliminated

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

After Daniel Lakerveld moved all in from the hijack for 28,000 and Tom Vogelsang re-shoved for 42,000, Marton Czuczor moved over top of both for about 20,000 more. Cards were then turned on their backs.

Daniel Lakerveld: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Tom Vogelsang: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Marton Czuczor: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The dealer spread a board of {8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{k-Hearts} to give Vogelsang a winner with trip kings to eliminate Lakerveld and leave Czuczor with a short stack.

Yosifov Wins Key Flip

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

There was a preflop all in in progress as Dimitar Yosifov had the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} and was going up against the {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} of Alexandre Vuilleumier who had slightly more chips.

The flop came {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} to hit the ace and launch Yosifov into the lead.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and the river came the {4-Spades} to win the big pot for Yosifov and send Vuilleumier to a short stack.

Dimov Taking Max Late Reg to the Max

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Ognyan Dimov was one of today's last-minute registrants, and he's already spun his 50,000 chip starting stack into much more.

In a recent pot, with the board reading {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Dimov bet 35,000 from the cutoff into an approximately 70,000 chip pot with Mustapha Kanit on the button.

The bet represented about one-third of Kanit's remaining stack, and after giving it some consideration, Kanit chose to fold.

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The board read {4-Spades}{q-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. Jelle Moene bet 4,000 over to Dominik Nitsche who raised to 25,000.

Moene took a few moments before he folded and Nitsche took the pot but Moene still has a nice stack that is north of 200,000.

Petrangelo Eliminated in Huge Three-Way Pot

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

A massive three-way pot just happened before break that's sent Nick Petrangelo to the rail and Georgios Karakousis into the chip lead.

With approximately 150,000 already in the pot on a turn board of {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}, Arsenii Karmatckii and Petrangelo had checked to Karakoukis in the cutoff, and with both opponents covered, he moved all in.

Karmatckii used several time bank cards before calling for approximately 100,000, and now it was Petrangelo with a decision. Ultimately, he also called for approximately his last 90,000 and the super-cooler was revealed.

Nick Petrangelo: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Arsenii Karmatckii: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Georgios Karakousis: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Karmatckii was drawing dead, while Petrangelo would need the last three in the deck to survive his set over set ordeal. The {9-Spades} fell on the river however to bust both Karmatckii and Petrangelo in horrific fashion.

The turn was the {5-Clubs}. Action went check-check to the river which was the {6-Clubs}. Cowen made a large bet of 88,500. Birizdo called fairly quickly.

Cowen tabled the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for a set to add another large pot to his arsenal.
