Triple Up for Swiderski

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The cards were already turned over and Milad Shoushi as well as Kacper Swiderski were shouting for the cards they needed. Both were covered by Mauricio Pais, who also had the best hand heading into the following showdown as well.

Kacper Swiderski: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
Milad Shoushi: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Mauricio Pais: {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Nothing changed on the {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop but Swiderski then gained the lead on the {9-Hearts} turn. The {2-Clubs} river ensured Swiderski's triple up for 21,000 while Shoushi's remaining stack of 98,000 was covered by Pais to eliminate the German.

Pardo Binks Turn to Survive

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Juan Pardo
Juan Pardo

Four-way action was on the flop of {5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}. From early position, Ezequiel Waigel bet 16,000. Alex Kulev folded on the button and Ionut Colciar also removed himself from the hand in the small blind. That left just Juan Pardo to act in the big blind. He thought for a few moments before he jammed all in for about 63,000. Waigel called after about 20 seconds of consideration.

Juan Pardo: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Ezequiel Waigel: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Waigel had the lead with ace high and better kicker but Pardo had the flush draw. The turn sent him into the lead another way as the {6-Hearts} came off. The river came the {3-Spades} and Pardo gathered his boosted stack.

Vecino Doubles; Plaar Busts

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Demetrio Caminita
Demetrio Caminita

In a battle of shorter stacks, Juan Carlos Vecino was at risk for the last 60,000 and was covered by Conor Beresford.

Juan Carlos Vecino: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Conor Beresford: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop propelled Beresford into the lead and the {5-Clubs} turn left Vecino with just two outs. One of them appeared on the {6-Diamonds} river as the Estonia-based Spanish poker pro doubled.

Moments later one table over, Jonas Plaar three-bet jammed for 97,000 out of the small blind and the initial raiser Demetrio Caminita instantly called from under the gun.

Jonas Plaar: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Demetrio Caminita: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

No ace appeared on the {j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Spades} runout and Plaar was the next player to head for the payout desk.

In a battle button versus big blind, the cards were already turned over with Firat Baltaci as the player at risk for what appeared to be approximately 100,000. He was up against the UK's Carl Shaw and they were flipping.

Firat Baltaci: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Carl Shaw: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop improved Shaw to superior two pair and he held onto the lead on the {3-Spades} turn and {5-Spades} river.

Jareth East
Jareth East

Jareth East called a raise and Keith Lehr did so as well out of the blinds. On a flop of {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, Lehr open-jammed for more than 100,000 to force out the initial raiser while East quickly called with the covering stack.

Keith Lehr: {j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Jareth East: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The gutshot and one overcard for Lehr missed on the {6-Hearts} turn and {a-Spades} river to send Lehr to the payout desk.

The {5-Hearts} on the river was too little too late for Sereika, who was eliminated, as Kuliberda moved up to 1,000,000 in chips.

Naydenov Busts Montalto

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

"I still didn't forget how to play," Simeon Naydenov grinned as he sat behind an above-average stack. The Bulgarian had just added a few chips further to his disposal after taking on Kevin Montalto in a battle of the blinds with the Frenchman pushing a very short stack.

Kevin Montalto: {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Simeon Naydenov: {j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The live cards of Naydenov got there on the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{q-Spades} board to knock out Montalto.

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The next Frenchman to get his short stack in was ahead with the {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. He was looked up by Pedro Andrada with the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and the board ran out {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts} for Andrada to spike the straight on the river.

Kuliberda Nearing a Million

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river as a pot of about 80,000 was in play with the board reading {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Both Teun Mulder and Dawid Kuliberda checked after thinking for several moment search.

Mulder tabled the {a-}{9-} but was beaten by the {q-}{q-} of Kuliberda who collected the nice pot to move his stack close to a million.

Mulder did gain a few chips back on the next hand when he jammed 109,000 from the button over the 10,000 cutoff open from Kuliberda, who took his time before folding.
