Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

There was a three-way all in with Daniel Dvoress the big stack, with Niklas Astedt and Giuseppe Rosa at risk.

Giuseppe Rosa: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Niklas Astedt: {k-}{j-}
Daniel Dvoress: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Spades} with pocket nines holding the hard way, rivering a straight to send both opponents to the rail.

Di Meglio and Montoya On the Rail

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Mathieu Di Meglio sent his short stack in with the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and was called by Andrea Cortellazzi with the {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The board ran out {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} and that sent the Frenchman to the payout desk.

He was joined there by David Montoya, who called all-in with the {a-Spades}{j-Spades} when facing the shove by Roi Pereira with the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}. The board brought {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and the pocket pair prevailed.

Labous Forces Out Ngo as Horlacher Busts

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Simon Horlacher open-shoved for 33,000. Tat Ngo called before Manuel Labous three-bet to 71,000.

Ngo called and both players then checked the {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. The turn was the {6-Spades} and Ngo check-called 56,000.

The river was the {10-Diamonds}. Ngo checked and Labous moved all in. Ngo tank-folded and Labous turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for ace-high.

Horlacher tapped the table, showing {a-Clubs}{2-Spades} and was eliminated.

"Pocket nines?" Labous asked.

"Something like that," replied Ngo.

Shehadeh Hits Set to Survive

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Luigi Shehadeh opened to 10,000 on the button before calling for his tournament life after Michal Mrakes jammed from the small blind.

Luigi Shehadeh: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Michal Mrakes: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Shehadeh went from underdog to favourite after the {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and secured the double after the {5-Hearts} turn and {6-Spades} river.

Gois Bubbles €5,300 EPT Main Event

Level 16 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Henrique Gois
Henrique Gois

Valentino Konakchiev raised to 10,000 from early position. It folded to the big blind, Henrique Gois who had only 4,000 left behind after posting the big blind and the big blind ante. He thought and waited for a long time as onlookers started to gather around the table. Eventually, he tossed in the four chips for the call.

The players waited until the cameras and the floor came over until they revealed their cards to the surrounding crowd.

Henrique Gois: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Valentino Konakchiev: {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Gois had the lead and would need to dodge a ten to avoid being the bubble boy. But the flop came the {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs} to fulfil that nightmarish vision. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and the river came the {k-Clubs} to end his tournament on the stone bubble as he became the only player in the room to not join in the shared joy of everyone making the money.

Yokosawa check-raised to 48,000 after Kabrhel bet 10,000. Kabrhel called which brought in the {8-Hearts} river. Yokosawa slowed down with a check and Kabrhel took the lead with a bet of 46,000.
