Glowny Doubles Through Danchev

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Grzegorz Glowny
Grzegorz Glowny

A small rail was gathering in the corner of the main tournament area as there was an all-in and call on table three. Grzegorz Glowny had called an open-raise while in the hijack and then called a squeeze by Dimitar Danchev on the button. Glowny check-called on the {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop and checked again the {2-Hearts} on the turn.

Danchev then pushed with the superior stack and Glowny called all-in for 152,000. Once all other tables were completed, the showdown proceeded.

Grzegorz Glowny: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Dimitar Danchev: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The dominating pair further improved on the {k-Clubs} river and Glowny doubled to continue his rise after the dinner break.

Kabrhel Busts Colillas in Cooler to Set Up Stone Bubble

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ramon Colillas
Ramon Colillas

With around 115,000 in the pot on a board showing the {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Ramon Colillas in middle position checked to Martin Kabrhel, who was on the button. Kabhrel bet 58,000 and was called.

On the {9-Spades} river, Colillas checked again but snap-called for his tournament life when Kabrhel put him all-in.

Colillas tabled his {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a set of sixes before Kabrhel turned his cards over one at a time. He first showed the {4-Diamonds} before turning over the {3-Clubs}, which was good for a straight.

The PSPC champ busted in 177th place to put the tournament into hand-for-hand play for the stone cold bubble.

Yokosawa Stands Up to Kabrhel

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel has been relentlessly three-betting since the dinner break on his table and had been met with little resistance.

That was until Masato Yokosawa made it 8,000 in the cutoff, with Kabrhel making it 20,000 on the button. Yokosawa made the call to see the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop. Yokosawa then check-jammed for 171,000 after Kabrhel bet 50,000 on the {a-Spades} turn.

Kabrhel folded and immediately Yokosawa said "thank you for the donation," with a wry smile.

Bonham and Zervos Meet Again

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Adam Bonham and Alexios Zervos once again tangled in a battle button versus small blind. It was Zervos who checked the {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} river and he then faced a larger bet worth 40,000 by Bonham. A longer tank followed and Zervos then folded, mentioning in table chat he had jack-ten of hearts.

Deyra Done Short of the Money

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Ivan Deyra had shoved on a {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop in a pot against Tat Ngo. Ngo took a long time to think through his options before calling the 40,000 shove.

Ivan Deyra: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Tat Ngo: {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}

Deyra did in fact have the overpair against top pair and a straight draw of Ngo. The turn {3-Hearts} completed Ngo's flush draw and the river {a-Hearts} sent Deyra to the rail.

Romeo and Bonham Mix It Up

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The board was completed to read {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{a-Spades}. Adam Bonham bet 18,000 and his chips were nearly beaten into the middle by a call from Leonardo Romeo.

Bonham showed the {a-}{8-} but was beaten by the {a-}{q-} by Romeo.

The next hand, the flop came {2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Romeo bet 11,000 from middle position in a three-way pot. Michal Hryncewicz called on the button and Bonham as well in the big blind.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds}. Bonham led for 21,000, Romeo called and Hrynewicz tanked before folding.

The river came the {a-Hearts}. Bonham bet 60,000 and Romeo quickly folded.
